Okay hear me out a deaf AU for any (and I do mean ANY) ship you like where one is deaf and the other already knows how to sign for whatever reason (just make it not character A). Cause I do love myself a deaf AU and learning the "learning to sign just for them" is super cute but what if we did "impressing them by already knowing how" instead?
