My Nemesis, James Hetfield pt 2 Bloopers

A/N: Here is take 1 of MNJHpt2 that I scrapped after I decided to go a different route with the beginning. Hope you enjoy!

Metallica was playing tonight. I was front and center head banging and jamming along. James kept grinning at me, and I of course would grin back. I was absolutely smitten. 

Since the party several months back, he was true to his word. Gone was the mean curmudgeon, he is the sweetest, funniest guy I’ve ever met. 

The show ended and I found my way to the bar getting another drink before the boys came out. 

“No way! Hey Y/N!” A voice called. I turned to see Bill with a couple of his buddies. I waved awkwardly. 

“Hey what’s up?” I asked, not really interested in striking up conversation. I mean I had to give it to the guy, we weren’t serious but he took my breaking things off pretty well. 

“Guys, this is the one that left me for James Hetfield.” He said to his friends. I turned beet red. 

“Ah yup. That’s me.” I said rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly. 

“Oh no. Sorry that may have come out sounding weird. It’s iconic, and an honor I live with.” Bill said, holding his hand over his heart. 

“Yeah, he brags about it.” One of his friends piped up. 

I laughed at the absurdity of this whole conversation and turned to leave.

“Bye Y/N!” Bill called out. 

 I was relieved to have spotted James. He smiled so brightly at me. When I got to him I hugged him tightly. He hugged me back. I pulled away just enough to look up at him. 

“Thank you for breaking your façade and telling me you liked me.” I gushed. James chuckled. 

“Of course, any reason you’re thanking me now?” He asked. 

“You helped me dodge a bullet.” I started then relayed to him the interaction I just had. James laughed so hard tears were falling from his eyes. “It was so awkward. I literally never want to run into him again.” I groaned. James continued laughing. He wiped his tears as he tried regaining his breath. 

“I don’t blame you, that is pretty weird. But so hilarious.” He chuckled.

The Spank Bank Incident

A/N: I don't know why but I thought of this scenario and it cracked me up haha

I grinned as I took a sip of my beer. Any time I’m around my friends is a good time. It was loud as they conversed amongst themselves. Out of nowhere a memory surfaced and I burst out laughing. 

All eyes were on me, as I wheezed. 

“Are you okay?” Kirk asked. 

“Do you remember when I found-“

Lars placed his hand over his face and sighed.

“Wait a minute, you weren’t there, Kirk! It was when Dave was still in the band.” I laughed.

“What happened?” Kirk asked curiously.

I was lounging with Lars in his room. We were just chatting when something caught my eyes. I found the jackpot. I snatched it up and Lars' eyes widened and before he could react I bolted out of his room manically laughing. 

I could hear him as he chased after me. 

“GET BACK HERE! GIVE IT BACK!” He yelled. 

“What’s going on?” James asked as I sprinted out the door. 

“Fock.” I heard Lars exclaim as he gave up. 

I didn’t, I didn’t stop until I could safely hide beside a neighbors garage. 

“Let’s see what gets Lars off.” I giggled as I started looking through the magazines.  

They were your typical playboy mags; nothing too shocking. That is until I opened a page and found a photo and my eyes widened. 

I made my way back to the Metallimansion yard. 

“Told you she’d be back…” Lars said, James and Cliff flanked him, Dave looked confused. 

I handed him his stash of magazines, firmly holding on to the picture I found. 

“Lars… Why am I in your spank bank?” I asked, perplexed holding up the photo. “It isn’t even a racy photo, like I’d understand if my tits were out, but I’m literally sitting on a couch smoking a cigarette…” I said holding up the photo so everyone could see. My face felt like it was on fire.

James hand shot up, “hold on, so you’re saying if we happened to have a topless picture of you we could use it for-“ 

“No! I’m saying I would’ve understood, not that you can do that.” I interrupted pinching the bridge of my nose. “I need to know… is Lars the only one who…?”

James went to open his mouth. 

“WAIT! NOPE! Changed my mind, I don’t want to know.” I looked at the picture again and shook my head. 

“I’m going home.” I turned to leave. 

“Can I get the picture back?” Lars asked, I looked at him with wide eyes. 

“Absolutely not.” 

“Are you still coming to the gig tonight?” Cliff called out.

“Yeah…” I replied and waved. “See you later.” 

“I don’t think she’s ever going to look at you the same.” Dave laughed, throwing an arm around Lars. 

“You’re definitely going to hear about this for the rest of your life.” Cliff laughed. 

“You’re joking!” Kirk laughed. 

“I was right, Lars. For the rest of your life this story is going to be told.” Cliff grinned. 

“Y/N that was years ago are you ever going to let it go?” Lars asked.

“No, Lars, I won’t.” I smiled and winked at him.
