The current state of America and the world in general is honestly disgusting

Living in a conservative, Christian household has always been difficult, but it is now more than ever. It's so genuinely disturbing the things I hear out of my parents' and grandparents' mouthes. I'm so scared for all the Hispanic people in this country and so truely sorry that this is happening. I feel scared really for any person of color or any minority. If you have an opportunity to protest or are able to donate, please do so, but of course, be careful. There is so much suffering going on in the US under the hands of the Trump administration. There's also so much suffering happening outside of this country. There is a genocide going on in Gaza and my country continues to support israel. The Palestinian people continue to strave as the blockade continues. It makes me sick and should make you sick too. The climate is going to shit, and the US's fucking oligarchy continues to "drill, baby, drill" because literally all they care about is money. I'm so done with social issues. I'm so done with this battle of who to blame and who to imprison and who to take rights from. If we're all fighting about whether or not trans people should be allowed to play sports or if books with queer characters should be allowed in schools, then we can't ever unite and fight back against the government.

I could go on forever about all the absolute bullshit that comes out of my family's and other MAGA people's mouth, but that won't fix anything. The day I get out of this house, I will be doing more, saying more, to try to help make a change.

If you can do something, then do something. Help the people who need helping. Speak up for the people who can't speak up for themselves.

Happy pride month to all queer people. Happy pride month especially to anyone who has been bullied, ridiculed, discriminated against, persecuted, and/or hate crimed. Happy pride to those who can't come out to family and to those who have. Happy pride to the people that have married those they love and to the people who are scared they won't be able to.
