If Aegon is M, I want Otto as Q. Just bc it'd be so funny having to equip Aemond for whatever wild scheme Aegon cooks up. He'll go bald for sure. Vharga, as an Aemond's car, is an awesome idea. Especially if it has been passed down from agent to agent originally belonging to Visenya, of course, one of the first secret agents and a legend in her field. Alicent can be Aegon's Moneypenny? Desperate to do some damage control every time Aegon makes some unhinged decision.
I'd absolutely love a Spy!AU with lucemond where aemond ist a spy James bond style and Luke is the femme (homme) fatale. It'd fit their dynamic so well, and to make it even more spicy, they'd still be related and on opposite sides of whatever conflict is going on (tho both would be off age). The more drama, the better.
Maybe Luke seduces him to steal vital information? Maybe he seduces him to the dark side? Maybe aemond takes Luke hostage? Who knows. I just know that'd be absolutely unhinged and a lot of fun😈
Aemond in every hostage!Lucerys fic ever after tapping that forbidden fruit to the council: I stand with my cancelled wife!
Who knew that a good fucking would actually calm him down eh?
Lucemond in one sentence. Just change "hunted" to "killed" and it will be perfect
Continuation of Spy!Lucemond:
Luke would still have taken Aemond's eye, of course, but this time, it'd have been on purpose. Before that they may have just been rivals of sort but now it's personal and Aemond doesn't know whether he wants to kill Luke or fuck him. Maybe both, though not in that order, obv. Either way, that does nothing to temper his budding obsession with Luke, and he starts seeking him out deliberately during his missions. He, of course, does it to take his revenge eventually, it's rather unfortunate that the timing just always seems to be off and if he takes his frustration out on the men that Luke likes to flirt with, that is nobodies business but his own.
To Luke, in the beginning, Aemond is just a mildly amusing nuisance who tries to kill him sometimes, and that makes Aemond even more angry. Making Aemond angry does turn Luke on, though. His obsession with Luke is hardly subtle. And who doesn't want to be wanted, right? And while letting Aemond chase him is fun. Wouldn't it be way more fun to have him on a leash? He is easy on the eye and quite skilled after all. So he tries to seduce him, which is not as hard as one might think, and if he gets a little possessive of Aemond himself along the way? Well, no harm done, right? Aemond belongs to him by all rights anyway.
I need more fics where Lucerys is literally giggling and kicking his feet over the scar he left on Aemond- like I remember reading a fic where Lucerys was literally being a whole FREAK about how he marked Aemond in a way that no one else can or will😭🙏

Tbh, I don't care. I'll read it even if they don't fuck. It's about the dynamic for me and fics that have top!aemond usually have the dynamic I like.
I need Luke to be THAT bitch and aemond to be the absolute loser who wants to eat Luke, practically begging on his knees to do it while murdering any competition. I dont want it to be healthy, they just both need to be so unhinged that it doesn't matter.
They are not good for each other, but no one else would be able to deal with them either, so them ending up with the other is the best case scenario for everyone involved. They match each other's freak, so to speak ;)
For me Top Aemond just fits better. Idk I think it makes the most sense but I’ve seen a lot more bottom Aemond lately
Hehe, this kinda drew up a scenario in my head where during a kidnapping arc Alicent finally confronts Luke about "corrupting" Aemond (who sure as hell is not putting up much of a fight) and it goes something like this:
Alicent: How do you sleep at night?
Luke: Naked with Aemond rolling in silk sheets.
Luke deserves to be sassy and raise a little hell sometimes ;)
People in fandoms have really lost the "wouldn't it be fucked if these two fucked?" flavor in ships and it really shows
I think the most important difference between Jon and Arthur as to why Jon would not survive malevolent is that Jon's curiosity is stronger sometimes than his survival instinct, while for Arthur it's survival before anything else.
Arthur would, at minimum, have brought the axe with him to the meeting with Jude if he really couldn't get his hands on a gun or something, and he would not have hesitated to use it.
Jon, on the other hand, might actually have humoured the cultists too much, but at least he'd have read the books before it became critical to know what's in them (tho he'd probably get killed by Eddie so no books for him at all).

Aemond in episode 8 S1 😫
“that character is a war criminal” that character is from a fictional fantasy world and did not attend the geneva convention
Best lucemond dynamic is pathetic, psycho loser Aemond and crazy bitch Lucerys. You can't change my mind!
This is so typical and funny. Some people really try to apply family dynamics to any ship that makes them mildly uncomfortable. Especially when they met before one half is off age even if nothing happens.
Early alutegra is just me and the weird dog I found down in the cellar.

Ichigo Kurosaki has always been the hero type, at least in my opinion. Sure, in the beginning, he was a bit reluctant to go out of his way to save random people but as he said to Rukia he was also not going to stand back if he can do something to help.
That is also how we get introduced to him. Before the Shinigami stuff and everything, he beats up some thugs for violating a little girl's memorial. Ichigo was never someone to just stand back and let things happen. Not to himself or anyone else, as long as he could realistically do something about it.
This last bit is very important. Ichigo is smart and always had a very good grip on what was within his powers to accomplish up until the Shinigami debacle. He was aware he could not save everyone, but he also had the stance of helping if he could. The problem came with his exponentially rising powers. The stronger he got, the more he was able to do or better the more he should have been able to do in his mind at least.
Now, he could not only save people from bullying or walk a friend home, but now he could protect people from dying. Of course, with the rising stakes, the danger also rose, and Ichigo would have been able to accept that if those things only rose for him.
But since Ichigo never really had the time to adjust to his new and rising powers properly, he never really got to explore and figure out his limits safely. As such, he kinda seemed to conclude that there was no limit, and he should be able to do everything by himself. (If only his friends would have gotten the same memo, right?)
So, of course, he started blaming himself when he couldn't protect everyone. Unfortunately, that also played a huge role in the corrosion of trust between him and those closest to him. He is super strong, everyone else is weaker than him, and they should get out of the way so he can protect them more easily.
The Fullbringer arc was, in that instance, a bit of a wake-up call for everyone, especially Ichigo, since he was really losing his mind over what I just wrote during the Winter War. Ichigo just needed to realise that he wants to protect people, that he likes to be powerful and that even if he is powerful it's okay to let other people have his back because no matter how strong he is he can never do everything alone.
I feel like due to his mother dying to protect him, Ichigo developed a trauma that keeps him from depending on people in fear that they'll die too.
In the winter war arc, especially in the beginning, he keeps telling everyone to stand back and let him handle it while he is really going through it with losing control of his own powers. It's pretty unreasonable, but he would rather die himself than ever let anyone else die for him.
Him continually reaching out to Kisuke to ask for help when he can't do something himself is huge in Ichigo's book.
His unwillingness to trust others to have his back and not get hurt rises proportionally to how overwhelmed he himself feels. In the very beginning, he was quite comfortable to trust Chad to have his back fighting gang members and high-school punks even in Soul Society Ichigo had some degree of trust that Chad could make it by himself despite feeling a little worried.
But then he sees his friend struggle once, and Chad immediately gets reclassified, especially since Ichigo himself feels out of his depth, and Chad ends up in the class of the people to be protected before they sacrifice themselves for Ichigo. Only Ichigo is allowed to do that.
This is also why he never goes to his father with that mess. He does not see Isshin as someone who has a fighting chance. He only goes to adults he believes can A) look out for themselves and B) have proven trustworthy in the past (and that only leaves Kisuke).
It kinda bites him later after he loses his powers because his friends also develop this kind of trauma because of him. He keeps sacrificing himself and almost dying in front of them, so now that he is weak, they have to keep him away from even the possibility of him attempting that while powerless and they pull an Ichigo which just makes everyone even more unhappy.
It makes me tingly about how little everyone in bleach respects other peoples' agency and all because one too many people died/almost died/came back wrong protecting them.
Rhaenyra gets the crown...maybe her dad waits to die just a bit longer, they are all there. So Baela and Jace are in their *starry eyed young engaged people* haze. Aegon is...on a sobriety kick because Rhaenyra ordered it. Helaena and Rhaena have bonded and since Rhaena is always with Luke, Helaena is now also always with Luke. (Helaena didn't know so many people could be actively nice to you...) the little twins are also very attached to their new realtives, and with four royal toddlers about it's all hands on deck. Rhaenyra and Helaena are also bonding a bit over being pregnant together.
Aemond wants to kill Lucerys...or...no...no or. He wants his eye!
Rhaena has caught on though, since she listens to Helaena and has decided that needling the man who insulted her and her sister, stole her mother's dragon (it would be one thing if he'd waited just a little but really) and has hated Luke for causing an injury in a fight.
So she pokes at all his sore spots with (totally malicious) glee. Oh yes, she and Luke are all but married, and she has an egg now and it will hatch and likely that hatchling and Arrax might eventually mate and won't it just be lovely how untterly bound she and Luke are?
Helaena...finally in a position to...poke at her brother and well, Luke always attends her and Rhaena at balls, and sees her beyond "something Aegon has".
So she might just join in that the twins are getting so attached to Luke, why, he's taken each out on Arrax already for a first proper flight. (He's also one of the first people to begin undoing some of the over-spoiling Aegon had done on Jaehaerys inparticular...)
Helaena is aware that rumors abound that she's practically Luke's mistress the "way they all act...or his second wife" (Luke wants to know how just...actually speaking to Helaena, and treating her like a human being worth acknowledging beyond her baby making abilities makes him a seducer...)
Poor Luke is standing there with two ladies extolling his vitues and how close they are to him while Aemond is glaring dagger(s) at all three of them, mostly him....and dammit Aemond kinda also wants to be Luke's mistress...or wife....no no he does not... (it all gets worse when Addam arrives at court...) (he's nice to Luke!, Luke smiles at him!)
Daemond thinks he should sort of step in...but it's all really, really funny. Also he'd never realized how much of his little shit self Rhaena had inherited....

Celegorm and Curufin explaining the Luthien situation to Maedhros
Crazy how many people want characters in fiction to speak and act like they’ve had 20 hours of intensive therapy. Could NOT be me I want these bitches fucked up insane
I don't actually think Ichigo is so naive that he doesn't know when he is being used. I think he is just a bit of an opportunist when it comes to achieving his goal, like basically every other big player in bleach. He's just not an asshole about it.
You just can't tell me that he looked at Urahara Kisuke and thought: "Yeah, this seems legit. He doesn't look like someone running a drug ring from the backdoor of his shop at all!" I'm sorry, but early arcs Kisuke is just way too shady. Ichigo is only oblivious when it comes to feelings, not when it comes to common sense.
He is just ready to ignore the possible fine print as long as it gets him into the position to achieve his goal, aka protecting everyone dear to him. Which does not make him naive or stupid. It just makes him reckless.
My roman empire is that Alisa and Franz Leopold are opposites in their looks and believes while also being so smiliar in their perfectionism, stubbornness and also their wants.
They are both "opposites attract" and "birds of a feather flock together" and I think that's why they belong together.
By the end, I don't think Maedhros was after the Silmarils because of the oath or any feeling of ownership anymore but more due to a desperate need to justify everything he had done and everything that had happened until this point.
He committed all of his deeds off a mostly sound mind, and that is the tragedy with Maedhros. He is not someone who delights in violence, but he is the type to justify the means with the end. So, now he needs to get his hands on the Silmarils because otherwise his family died for nothing. All the atrocities he committed would have been for nothing.
I think he reached the point of no return directly after the first kinslaying actually because he did know it was wrong, so now he had to make it count and as war crimes accumulated so did his desperation increase to get the stones. How else could all of this have been worth it?
And then he holds the Silmaril in his hand and realises what he knew all along that it did not, in fact, justify anything and unable to live with that he throws himself into the fire. Maybe he even wanted to die while breaking into the camp. So that he did not have to face the terrible knowledge he had just failed to acknowledge so far.
Maglor was just along for the suicide. The entire argument Maedhros used was made up garbage so that he could finally end it all and maybe Maglor was just as tired as he was at that point to accept and follow along with what was frankly just an elaborate plan to die. Ultimately, of course, Maglor did not kill himself, but it was not that he was better off in any way, either.
TLDR; Maedhros just kept following one goal single-mindedly after the first kinslaying to make sure it wasn't in vain for his own peace of mind while also being keenly aware that it would not be enough. Spiralling just made him clutch the end goal even tighter to not lose himself.
