Happy Birthday, Izzy mfkn Stradlin โจ

Okay not hate here but am I the only one that's getting a bit annoyed with the whole dark red groupie, lana del rey, rockstar gf thing and people only listening to bands like gnr and motley crue because of it? Once again, no hate here I do enjoy a few of lana's songs myself but I feel like the whole previous described situation is getting a bit annoying? Like being a groupie was probably anything but fun and it's not something to idolize
(pls don't come at me for this, this is just my opinion)
Current aesthetic: 2 pixel pics and Slash with towel
idk what this is anymore... but it's not as low quality as I thought it would be
based on this shit
I don't know if anyone even wants my opinion on this but imma just say it anyways.
You're pretty much right about all that and I think as well that neither of those should be okay. I mean most of them are already more or less happily married, like just leave them alone.
Also it's just disgusting to a certain degree and I just think that people should keep it to themselves if they have such thoughts.
I agree with you and I think it's pretty important that someone finally said it.
I've admittedly made tasteless jokes in the past (a realization I've recently come to), but some of you are far too comfortable with the way you discuss GNR in posts and anonymous asks.
Stuff like: "What's his tip color?" "How big is it?" "I bet he's packing a monster." "I want him inside me."
And hundreds more along the same lines flood discussions. I recognize the potential hypocrisy in my critique, but I feel compelled to address this.
Imagine a blog dedicated to a female rockstar where anonymous questions from teenage boys read: "I bet it's bubblegum pink." "I wonder what her breasts feel like." "I want to suck those things so bad." "I bet it grips."
You would be among the first to condemn it, labeling such remarks as inappropriate, objectifying, and unacceptable under any pretense (humor included), and you'd be right.
So why is this behavior normalized when the subject is a male musician? Is it because they're men? Is it because you believe it's permissible simply because you're a woman? The truth is, this conduct is no different from that of the stereotypical "horny men" often criticized for their behavior. The only difference is that women engaging in this receive a pass due to:
A) The lack of seriousness attributed to such remarks when directed at men.
B) The perception that such statements are inherently comedic.
If I, or any other guy, were to make similar comments about a female musician, I or they'd be labeled a pervert or a disgusting creep. The same standard should apply universally.
srsly I js took this pic while passing by without stopping because I didn't want to seem awkward but in the end I just stood there for around a minute to watch the video (and effectively blocked the way for other people). Also there's my damn reflection in the glass. High quality photographs
the amount of times a teacher actually asked me about my band shirts is crazy
Happy fucking birthday to Axl Rose, luv you too. @honeysuckleliliao I didn't forget itttttt
happy fucking birthday to Duff McKagan. I luvvvv him so much.
I don't think it's about Susan, I think it was written before they even met (not too sure about that part tbh). However I think it was written as a tribute to Johnny Thunders. Hope it helps. Pls someone correct me if I'm wrong.
