I loved watching Anton in everything he did. One of my favorite up and coming actors. So devastated when I heard the news of his death. He's still one of the best things in the ST newer movies. 💛

Watched Only Lovers Left Alive
Grimy, lethargic, rich, soporific, but most of all comfortable. Probably the most appealing vision of vampirism I have seen. Lots of fun to watch with a small crowd that knew the right moments to laugh. Absolutely adore the music, all the various droning sounds that enrich and deprive at once. Too keen on itself, but the (over)confidence allowed the textures of the environments to seep into my eyeballs and for the brief walk back to my car change the way I saw the world. If you haven't seen it: John Hurt plays the vampire Christopher Marlowe; this is probably both the best and most unreasonably indulgent part of the movie, and it's enough to make it worth it on its own.
