First two pics: the failure of an attempt to make an m&m themed cake. Last pic: my actual birthday cake that we used for the little party.
Always seem to have bad luck on my birthdays.
Both cakes were made by my mom. I really love all she has done for me and how she’s listened to my crazy requests.

When you're prone to hypoglycemia and it's hot and you exercised this morning and your family told you dinner would be at 5 at your aunt's 50th birthday party and now it's 6 and still no food...
hey guys
So umm....what would yall do if you had your birthday yesterday and a party with your family today, but yesterday you went out with friends to medieval times and your social battery still hasn't fully recovered and its too late to be like "so sorry guys we r gonna have to rain check this!" Because people are already here? Because this is kinda happening to me and I don't really know what to do.
"I LOVE DISTRUTION!!" (Said by a kid in line for the pinata)
"We sacrifice you!" (While playing pole tennis) "The children have been given access to fire, large sticks and marshmallows, go help us" -Me
"Where am I gonna put this??" (A little boy holding a bunch of candy) "Do you have pockets?"- Me (Kid grins and proceeds to shove it in various jean pockets) "Get some rizz sigma!!" (Called out while waiting for cake" "Smash it with a hammer!!" (My sister and I quoting movies while inhaling helium)
"Is this a birthday party or a group exercise??" (I said as several children howled and wailed in excitement)
"Why is your party bag different to mine??" - by birthday boy's other aunty "Caz I'm special~" -Me (They ran out of plastic bags and hers was paper)
I would like to make it clear to my brain that today I don’t turn 16, but 26. The period of afters and sleepless nights has been over for a long time.
This Would Make a Good Wedding/Birthday Cake For Raz & Lili.

When I was in 3rd grade I had a birthday party. This was a first for me, so I was super excited until I realized my parents had limited me to 16 invitees. Unfortunately, my school class had 24 students, so there was no way I could invite the entire class, especially since I had close friends outside of my classes as well. Through careful bargaining and reasoned debate, I managed to convince my parents to raise the limit to 20 (bless them), and I went to school with 18 invitations in my pocket—technically that put me at 22 total invitations, but I figured I could get away with it since some kids would probably be busy that day.
My plan was to distribute these in secret so that nobody would *know* that they would be left out (since they would have to know there was a party to know they were being left out). Unfortunately, I overestimated the tact of eight-year-olds, and it soon became common knowledge that scant-lemons was distributing party invitations, and not everybody would get one. Throughout the day I was forced to look some of my classmates (that I liked very much) in the eye and tell them that, no, they couldn’t come to my birthday party because I couldn’t invite everybody, and they didn’t make the cut.
This was the most emotionally taxing thing I had ever done up to that point in my life. I remember riding home on the bus trying not to cry. I felt so bad.

I don't actually remember why I started writing this post other than the fact that after more than a decade, I am still racked with torment over the emotional damage I might have caused. There's a certain irony in how I remember the trauma of sending out the invitations far better than I remember the actual party itself. There's a moral there somewhere, but I'm not sure what.
In the unlikely event that someone I turned down ever reads this, I just want to say that I'm sorry and I still wish you could have come. That goes to anybody else who didn't get invited to a party too, even if it wasn't mine. I'm sorry. Really.
