Some predictions for Double Life:

Scar is going to die while filming his intro or something by walking off a cliff or big hole.

Ren and BigB are going to be the first red lifers.

Joel is going to make a trap in his base and Etho is going to "disarm" it, bringing them to red.

Bdubs and Impulse are going to be the first two to be killed by red lifers.

Jimmy (when red) is going to be jumped while exploring or gathering food and get killed, making him and Tango be the second people off the series. Probably Joel and Etho kill him.

Pearl is going to kill Scott.

Someone is going to fall off Pearls tower.

Logbook

Based on these posts, specifically this one, where the kids all survive but are left on the server

Tw: Death, Abandonment, Description of corpses, killing of dogs, depression, grief, starvation, dying of thirst, suicide (But like a mild way), insomnia, hallucinations, probably something else that I forgot but like this is not a happy story at all

Logbook day 1: Mom and Dad died a week ago now. We buried them by the ravine where dad’s bleeding heart used to be. There wasn’t much to bury though, the dogs had gotten to the majority of what was left of them. For any normal person it would be freaky, but it just felt fitting to have dad look like a maimed corpse just like mom and I always look.

I’ve started writing these just to have something to pass the time. We’re stuck here, so it’s not like I have anything else to do

Logbook day 3: Wes has finally finished the shelter he’s been working on. Since the majority of our homes were either blown up or burnt down, we decided to just make new ones. Novo and Gertrude are staying together, as are Jassy and Liana. Johnny still hasn’t left the ranch. I see him there sometimes, by his parents graves, either sleeping sobbing or staring into the abyss. I think I’m gonna go check on him

Logbook day 8: The last one of Pearl’s dogs has been killed now. Jassy and Novo have been doing that for a few days. It was Novo’s idea.

Wes talks in his sleep. He’s always done that, but before it was just incoherent mumbling. Now it’s pleas and cries for his fathers. I usually wake him up when it happens, but sometimes I just let him sleep. People like him need their sleep

Logbook day 24: Liana has spent the last few hours trying to fly. I don’t know why she’s doing it, she’s known since she was a kid that she can’t fly, but she’s not stopping. I think she’s just trying to find something to do

Logbook day 88: Jassy and I spent the day raiding the pillager tower. We got some good exorcise out of it, but little progress was done as they just kept on respawning. I only died five times, and Jassy three.

Logbook day 147: I saw a goat today. Hasn’t seen one of those in a while. I went to show Johnny, but he still hasn’t left their grave. There’s vines and moss growing on him now. I left him be

Logbook day 233: My cloak got torn to pieces by a spider earlier. I didn’t care enough to stop it. It’s weird not covering my hair, but I don’t mind it as much anymore

Logbook day 454: Novo and Gertrude had an argument, so Gertrude is staying with us for a few days. She snores, but I don’t mind it. It makes the nights less lonely

Logbook day 896: Saw a frog today. I petted it and it hopped away

Logbook day 1233: Novo has decided to stop sleeping. I don’t know what his reasoning for it is, though to be honest I never know what’s going on with him. Jassy and Gertrude are both joining him, and technically so am I. It would’ve impossible for me not to join

Logbook day 1246: The sleep strike is over. Novo’s visions got worse and he eventually killed himself. Gertrude said that when he respawned, he fell right to sleep and hasn’t woken up yet. I knew it was a stupid idea

Logbook day 2456: Something strange happened yesterday after I finished the log. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky. It’s been up there for longer than it should’ve, and I would know considering our house is decked with clocks. Gertrude also informed us that the animals don’t breed like they used to, and that the crops don’t seem to grow. I don’t know what’s going on but I don’t like it

Logbook day 2463: It’s official, the world has stopped moving. None of us know why

Logbook day 2657: We ran out of food today. Starving is a painful way to die

Logbook day 3121: I was tasked with getting Johnny away from his dads grave again. He looks more like a zombie than I do nowadays

Logbook day 4555: It’s getting harder to keep track of the days. I’m just guessing at this point

Logbook day 5367: Liana and Jassy married each other today. None of us can legally officiate, but as the child of the winners Novo took it upon himself to do so. We managed to get Johnny to show up, though he didn’t look present at all

Logbook day 8965: Novo has been repeatedly slamming himself into the border, hoping to somehow escape it. It’s tempting to see all the cows and pigs move about outside, when we can’t reach it

Logbook day ????: I don’t know what day it is anymore. I don’t know a lot actually.

Final logbook: We were exploring the undercity for the hundredth time earlier, when we found a rift. It looks like a Nether portal, but bigger, and grander, and just…different. There’s nothing left for us here, hasn’t been for a while, so we’re gathering our few essentials and leaving. I’m not gonna bring this book with me, so this will be the last you hear of me.

The Double life children Headcanons 2, Electric Boogaloo

The babs are back, and they’re more sad than ever 🥳

Wes hates being called either Weston or Wesley, or anything like that. His name is just Wes, simple as that, but Novo, Liana, and Jassy all love calling him elongated versions of his name to mess with him. Sometimes they go the extra mile and making up names, like Wessica or Wessandra. It’s the easiest way to rile him up

Novo takes his superstition extremely far. He refuses to leave his home if it’s Friday the 13th, he doesn’t walk under ladders, he puts a lot of faith into four clovers and rabbit feet, Black cats must die, he barely interacts with mirrors in fear of smashing them, he knocks on wood after almost every sentence, he always has salt to throw over his shoulder, he is ecstatic when his palm itches, y’all get the gist. Neither of his parents are particularly superstitious, not anyone around him, so it’s a mystery of where it comes from. He just simply puts a lot of trust in simple luck

Wes is the only one who kinda understands Novo and his superstition. Because of his OCD, Wes is always keeping things straight and orderly, he washes his hands obsessively and tries to keep things clean, he always asks for reassurance by people, he’s always counting things for no reason, he needs his things rearranged in a certain way or else he will cry, he panics over even the smallest decisions because he doesn’t want to make the wrong choice, etc. Novo and Wes don’t question the things the other just feels a need to do, and they find comfort in each other because of it.

Jassy is a big horror fan. She loves reading horror novels in the bowel of the Relation, the multitude of candles as the only light source only adding to the atmosphere. As a bab Joel used to tell her the most horrific stories he could come up with about The Wither, and The Ender Dragon, and The Deep Dark and such. Etho was horrified when he walked in on it one day. Jassy tried to share her interest with Liana when they were teens, and the poor gal couldn’t sleep for a week.

Gertrude on the other hand loves romantic stories. BigB used to tell her these sweet love stories about princesses in castles and knights coming to rescue them (And Ren had his own stories about Kings and their Hands falling in love while defending their homeland), and Gertrude was just enamored. She may be this tough tomboy gal with a chillaxed attitude and not a care in the world, but a happy ending always makes her cry. As a kid she used to fantasize about a charming charismatic man sweeping her off her feet like in the romance stories she reads, and while Novo isn’t exactly what she’d imagined (Partly because he’s 4’11 and twig and she’s 6’5 and bulky as all heck), she wouldn’t trade her gremlin boyfriend for anything.

Jekiv’s zombie-ness makes him unable to sleep. He physically can’t, he just doesn’t get tired like the rest of the people on the server. When he was a baby this was a pain in the ass for Cleo and Scott (And Novo when he wasn’t with Pearl), as Jekiv got bored during the nights with no one to entertain him which resulted in him screaming and crying for attention. Cleo (Who still needed sleep, Jekiv just has messed up Pineal glands or something) almost went insane during this time, trying to keep her fussy baby quiet. As Jekiv grew older he found ways to entertain himself during the nights, like hunting, fishing, reading, farming, or building. Sometimes he spends the whole night with Wes, listening to his heartbeat and breathing all night. It calms him, and Wes likes the cuddles, so it’s a Win-Win situation.

When Liana hatched, she was absolutely disgusting looking, and I say that in the most affectionate way. But like, she was hatched all fleshy and pink and gross because, well, she’s a bird and they are very ugly when first hatched. Scar, who was expecting a fluffy feathery mini-Grian baby actually yelped when he first laid eyes on her, thinking she’d hatched too early. It took just a few weeks for her feathers to grow in though, and then she was just the fluffiest bab either of them had ever seen.

Jassy’s hair is a huge mystery to everyone on the server. She has ridiculous hairstyles that should in no way be possible*, even less stay up as long as it does. She enjoys styling her hair in weird updos, it’s a weird hobby, and Jekiv and Liana enjoys studying the logistics of her hair, so again, Win-Win all around.

*Google ‘Ridiculous anime hairstyles’ or something, and then you get an idea of what Jassy looks like. Her hair defy the laws of gravity and she sees nothing wrong with it

As a tot, Johnny was a wanderer. He never sat still, always going where his nose was pointing, not a single care in the world. This was a problem, because the Ranch is located right by a ravine, and there’s a ton of animals there that could trample him, and a forest that was dark enough to spawn mobs. What I’m basically saying here, is that Johnny was a leash kid. Some of the other pairs made fun of Jimmy and Tango for not being able to keep track of their kid, but like it was the only option, they look away for literally two seconds and he’s gone, toddling away after a butterfly or something. Sometimes he’d slip out of the leash however, which lead to his dads chasing after him like he’s a baby at a construction site in a Looney Toons cartoon.

Despite being nearly adults (Or like actually adults, I have no clue how old the babs are supposed to be okay), Johnny and Gertrude love to roughhouse. They’ve both got some animalistic instincts in them (Gertrude being a dog and Johnny a fecking demon), and you know sometimes you just gotta tussle with the homies. They’re both quite aggressive and it could be a bit scary to watch if you don’t know they’re just doing it for fun, but they do know their limits. Gertrude is usually the one who wins, since she’s so much physically stronger than him, but if Johnny gets riled up enough that demonic wrath will kick in and then she’s in trouble.

Liana swears like a sailor, and has been doing so her entire life. She could stub her toe against a table and spout out a row swear words that makes even the toughest bitch blush, and Grian always gasps in shock and fricking clutches his pearls like an upper class old white lady whenever she does, wherever he may be on the server. It’s the instinct of a strict parent that kicks in.

Lianas favorite parent is Scar, Wes’ is Impulse, Gertrudes is Ren, Jassys is Etho, Novos is Pearl, Jekivs is Cleo, and Johnny doesn’t have a favorite because he’s the only one who grew up with a healthy and steady relationship with both of his parents. Surprisingly, Johnny is the most well adjusted and stable person of the kids, probably on the entire server actually. He’s just here to play the banjo and cuddle his goats, and we love him for it

All the kids used to talk about what they’d want to do when they were old enough to leave the dl server as babs. Jassy and Jekiv wanted to compete in tournaments, Novo wanted to be apart of MCC that his dad often talked about, Wes, Gertrude, and Liana all wanted to join Hermitcraft, and Johnny wanted to start his own server to settle down in. Once they actually got old enough to be allowed to leave the server, and discovered that it was impossible for them, all their dreams were promptly crushed. It was a sad day on the server

In hindsight, the kids are absolutely terrifying. They’re technically all gifts from god, none of them can die (unless their parents do but they don’t even know that), two of them are actual demons, one of them is an undead rotting corpse, one is a star elf who’s absolutely insane, one’s a fucking werewolf, one is a professional assassin and one can swindle you out of all of your possessions and can probably find a way to buy your soul, plus two of them are absolutely jacked and one can speak with Wardens, aka a demonic beast on the underworld. It’s probably good that they weren’t able to leave the server, they could all take over the world with barely any effort.

And yeah that’s it. This is probably the last thing I’ll do with the kids, unless I decide to actually write something with them. Also I thought I’d say this now, yea you’re allowed to make fanart or other fan content of them, I’ve had people contact me and ask if they can and it’s totally cool, just credit me (And tag me because I wanna see :D)

Double life smp children, Outlines of stories lol

Y’all know the gist by now, here’s the link to the first post about the babs and here’s one to some headcanons and their deaths :)

But yeah, I was sharing some story outlines to my platonic wife/bestie, and I thought I could share it here too because I thought it was kinda cute and I love these kids

I know they’re really rough and full of typos but like, they’re not even first drafts they’re like the step before first drafts cut me some slack guys

Also, small extra thing that may or may not be canon who knows, after their deaths the kids became ghosts who floated around the server, watching the rest of their friends die. When double life ended, the server was destroyed and the kids were released of it’s clutches, but they were still just spirits floating about with no way to interact with the world around them. They follow their parents around, watching them slowly forget about what took place on that server, and forget that they even had children.

Also all their ghosts are horrible disfigured because of their deaths. Johnny has a deep stab wound in his chest and can’t speak because of the blood clogging up his throat, Gertrude has a hole in her skull, her right eye being completely crushed and her left being distorted by the blood running down her scalp, Liana is completely deaf, Jassy is burnt to a crisp, but can move, hear and talk completely fine, the same goes for Wes he just has a stab wound in his chest, Jekiv is partly missing several limbs and has chunks of his body bitten off by the dogs, plus his neck is completely broken, and Novo had part of his body destroyed in the explosion, leaving only the upper half of him complete.

….Maybe it’s good no one can see them

But whatever, that’s not even really canon, so who cares! :D

The Double life children, small headcanons

And this is what happens when I grow attached to Characters that has little to no pre established character (See The Barduil fam, Knox), I think about them a lot and then I talk about it here.

Anyways, the AU is essentially that in addition to the dl gang sharing lives, they also share a child that just showed up one day unprompted, here’s the link to the post

But yeah, here’s some additional things about the babs, enjoy

Also, tell me who’s ur favorite, I wanna know. Personally I really like Johnny and Liana, but I’m curious about what others think

Liana is younger than everyone else, as while they all popped in a few month old, she was still just an unhatched egg. She’s bullied for this

Jassy has naturally striking white hair, but she dyed a streak in it green to have something in common with Joel

The full moon’s take a lot out of Gertrude, leaving her exhausted both days before and after. She was completely feral during the first few, leaving Ren to help keep her away from everyone so no one is hurt. They both have a lot of scars from this

Novo got too close to Weretrude once, giving him a big ol nasty scar on his forearm. He takes a weird sense of pride in it

Jekiv is completely enamored with death and corpses. He likes to study zombies and skeletons, see what differs them from each other and from other players. When they’ve perished, he takes parts from them, like teeth or brain matter, and keeps them as decorations. Sometimes he makes jewelry out of it, which clashes weirdly with his bright pastel clothing

A part of Novo’s fucked up mental state comes from how both of his parents tortured each other, sometimes in front of him. It sorta messes up your mind to see your dad nearly freeze to death in front of you, or see your mom’s shoulder form an open stab wound, especially when you’re just a few years old

On a lighter note than all of that previous shit, Johnny absolutely fucking loves goats. The ranch goats are his buddies, all of them have names, and he’s very protective of them. If anyone would dare to try and trick them into loosing a horn, they’d be faced with the ‘Tek wrath’, as his pa Jimmy had dubbed it

As a kid, Liana spent a lot of time trying to fly, injuring herself multiple times doing so. It was first until she was six that Grian broke the news that she’d likely never be able to fly, as her wings were too small to carry her. Liana ran away at the news, upset at her dad, and ended up at Martyn’s place who looked after her for a few days until she was ready to see her dad again. Grian almost had a heart attack multiple times during those days

Jassy Naruto runs. She’s also allergic to onions. Just putting that out there

Martyn had almost no involvement in raising Jekiv. He was like a dad who walked out to get milk and never came back, except he lived not too far from there, so it was kinda awkward. Jekiv reject everything to do with his dad, even small things like refusing to dress in green and hiding his blonde hair, just so he has no affiliation to him.

Wes is a total cuddle bug. Like I’ve said before, the guy has a lot on anxiety, but just relaxing and holding something softly helps him immensely. Jekiv is more than happy to assist with this

Despite not having a last name, Liana has almost ten middle names. This is because the only way Grian could compromise and get his way with the name, was if Scar chose the middle name. He went a little overboard. Liana’s full name is Liana Sharina Ace Xelqua Sage Aurelia Francesca Octavia Jellie Monroe. She absolutely loathes it, because it can’t fit cleanly on any business card

Pearl didn’t have much custody of Novo, just every other week, but when she did and had to do something then Tilly was Novo’s babysitter. The lad absolutely loves the dog, even if she’s old by now, and she was always very gentle with him as a kid

Scar tried to do something similar with Liana and the Jellies, but they’re a lot more lazy and negligent, plus Liana is a tiny bit allergic so it was not a good idea. Like many things regarding his daughter, this nearly gave poor Grian a heart attack

Johnny has a flame bite. What I mean by this is that whatever he bites gets a serious burn, almost second degree if he bites hard enough. This was discovered when he was roughhousing with Gertrude, and accidentally bit her. She still has the burn scar on her arm

Speaking of dog gal, she runs on four legs! Well, only when she really gotta go fast, but yeah she a doggo! She’s extremely fast too, even beats Etho and Jassy’s Naruto running

Wes was bit by one of his dads horses as a kid, and has been afraid of them ever since. Has never brought this up with them though, as he doesn’t want to seem silly over a stupid fear

Jassy used to steal Etho’s mask all the time as a bab. Sometimes she’d wear it (despite it being way too large for her) and sometimes she’d just nom on it. Etho absolutely adores his daughter and everything she does, so he’d let her do so without any qualms (This was the reason behind some people seeing Etho’s face for the first time). Joel was usually the one who took the mask back, because he’s fully immune to his daughter’s puppy eyes (He’s not, he’s just stronger)

While Liana is a brilliant businessman and a total silver tongue, it does help during her deals to have Jassy (Badass ninja gal with a cold steeled gaze) standing behind her, sharpening her blade.

Novo has a very weird Frankenstein of an accent, mixing together Scott’s Scottish and Pearl’s Australian. This makes him sometimes incomprehensible, even to his parents. This paired with Johnny’s mysterious country accent that just came out of nowhere made them very good friends as children

Despite Johnny being part demon and Wes being part Imp, aka different species, the two are very similar to each other in terms of physical attributes regarding their species. They both got horns, a tail, sharp fangs, and unnaturally colored eyes. Johnny has a bit more fire imagery going on that Wes, but despite that the two are similar af. They quarrel about this often, fighting over who has better and sturdier horns, who’s tail is stronger and can lift more, who can kill down the best using just teeth and claws, etc. It’s a dumb friendly rivalry they both enjoy

Liana spends a lot of time styling her hair, trying to make it all prom and proper like a true business man. This effort is all futile however, as she inherited Grian’s extremely fluffy hair, and it will all just puff up within twenty minutes no matter how much hair gel Liana puts in it

And now, on a less light note, the deaths

Major tw warning for the shit being written here, it will be describing pretty gruesome deaths in close detail, so be warned

Johnny was the first to go. He was sitting down by the salmon river with Jekiv, fishing, when it happened. His chest was penetrated by a long sharp object, taking the breath away from his lungs as his mouth filled with a thick metallic liquid. Jekiv could only stare on in shock as Johnny choked to death on his own blood, the open wound on his chest lined with faint purple. It was first when he opened chat and saw the death messages, that Jimmy had been slain, that the death was explained. He knew that he needed to get the information to everyone else, that their lives was directly tied to their children’s lives, and he needed to give them that information fast. Too bad he wasn’t fast enough

Gertrude was with Novo when it happened to her. The two were on the way up Pearl’s tower, joking between themselves, when a sharp pain struck Gertrude’s head. She was so shocked by the sudden pain that she let go off the ladder, falling down to the ground with Novo screaming out her name. Gertrude was dead before she hit the ground, her skull pierced open and blood dripping down her face. Her iconic sunglasses that she never took off laid beside her, cracked. Her mouth was hung open in a silent scream, pleading for mercy of the pain that would only hit her in death. Novo cried over her body, confused over what had happened. His mother found him an hour later, and had to physically drag him away

Realistically you’d think that after the death of two children, the people would calm down with the killing. And yeah, two couples do! The yellow lives are rational, they know that both theirs and everyone else’s children are in danger, and that the killing would help nobody. The red lives on the other hand crave blood. The crave violence and gore and death. Their minds barely register that the kids could be in danger, all they are set on is killing off the yellows and killing them as fast as they can.

Liana was by herself when she died. She was watching over the remaining Jellies, scratching their furry faces and trying to keep them in the area of red velvet keep when her head suddenly feels like it explodes. Her ears are hurting so bad they start to bleed, and her eyes bulge out of her skull as the roaring pain stop her from doing anything apart from writhing in pain. The loud noise eventually rips a hole in her eardrums, ruptures her lungs, and leaves her lifeless corpse to bleed out, the Jellies nudging with their little noses, trying to wake her up

Jassy was in the newly constructed fort tower when her death occurred. She was with Wes, still mourning Liana’s death when her dads left for the Nether. It should’ve been a safe journey, they were both highly skilled if not a bit chaotic, so she didn’t expect anything to go astray. That was, until her arm suddenly started burning in a way it never had before. Johnny’s bites hurt a lot, but it paled in comparison to what she felt in that moment. And the feeling didn’t stop, instead it spread up her arm, and formed on her leg, and her back, and everywhere. She didn’t notice she was actually on fire until Wes screamed, the flames coming into her vision when she looked up at him. She screamed out for him, for her dads, for Impulse and BDubs who were standing not too far away frozen in fear, but the burning didn’t stop. Her skin melted off, and bones turned to ash, her whelps of pain becoming strange gargles as the flames ate her up. When she finally grew silent, left behind was only a burnt corpse, doomed to end just the way everything in her father’s path did.

Wes, newly traumatized by witnessing his friend’s death, stuck to his dads after the passing of Boat Boys. The three were left alone on their team to fend off against two separate families, one of which containing two fully unhinged individuals, so it was a bit frightening to walk around. Of course they were attacked, but Wes’ death was quick and easy. BDubs was stabbed by Pearl, accidentally taking Impulse down with him, and Wes died close to his family, almost painless.

Jekiv on the other hand…..After witnessing Johnny’s death just a bit earlier, Jekiv was a fucking wreck. He looked like his step brother Novo, the way he was twitching and staring out into nothing for hours on end. His parents tried to stay out of the killings, hiding in the deep dark while Jekiv was tucked away in Scott and Cleo’s secret bunker, but when they turned red it was hard to resist the temptations. Martyn carelessly went after Pearl, aiming to finally get a victory in one of the seasons and to prove the Watcher’s wrong, but the dogs were too much for him. Jekiv could feel the wolf army, the offsprings of that fucking dog that Pearl always took everywhere, start to nip and bite away on his rotting skin. Chunks of it disappeared in large bites, and he screamed out for help, help that couldn’t come. The feeling of being eaten alive was slightly numbed by the fact that as a zombie he was unable to feel everything, but even with that in mind it was absolutely horrifying for him, and incredibly painful. He could feel the dogs tear his arms off, bite away at his inner organs, rip off his skin, and all he could do was cry. He was eventually saved from a very slow and painful death by Cleo’s fall, which instantly broke all three of their necks.

And then there were only one. Novo had stayed hidden at the base of Pearl’s tower through most of the red siege, staring at the place where Gertrude had died. Her body had been taken away to be buried with her fathers by box, but there was still some blood and bone splinters left in the grass. He stared at chat, letting out a dry sob each time a death message hit, knowing that his friends went with them. Liana, the only one who could keep up with his crazy nature, and always followed along when he had an idea. Jassy, with her infinite patience and wonderfully dumb puns. Wes, who would carry Novo away from any form of danger he put himself into, acting like the caring and loving mother he never had. Jekiv, his brother, the only person Novo considered family, despite that he absolutely loathed him. All of them, gone. Novo left the tower when his father told his mother to meet at spawn. He walked past Tilly on the way there, his caretaker, the best listener when he needed to cry. His parents were both at spawn, staring each other down. Talking. Novo couldn’t hear them, his ears were still ringing from all the explosions that had gone off earlier. He was too far away to see their facial expressions. He tried to call for them, but either they didn’t hear him or they simply ignored him. Nothing new. It was first when his father placed tnt by his feet that Novo really started to panic, picking up the pace to run to them both, stopping whatever madness that was happening between them. He couldn’t. His father screamed something, his mother called out for him. Novo just wailed, as the explosion finished him off, quick and easy.

And then they were gone. Seven lonely souls, all created through forged bonds between people who were made for death, made to kill for entertainment. The fourteen would all move on after the season, build their bases, create their empires, compete in their tournaments. They would forget about the things that transpired on that server, their friendships would reforge and they would all move on with their lives. And seven more stars would be added to the eternal night sky, seven stars who in the big scheme of things were nothing, but in the moment were everything. Seven stars made to be remembered, but doomed to be forgotten.

I genuinely love these seven dumb ocs, they make no sense and idk how they work but they’re lovely. I might write something about them at some point

If you would be wondering how old these guys all I have absolutely zero idea. In my mind they’re pretty old, like early twenties, and idk if that means that Double life went on for twenty years or these babies just age quickly. Probably the second one tbh.

Like, one month after the gang was all dropped into Double Life, they all got a notif about seven new entities spawning in. When checking spawn, then gang finds six multicolored baskets all containing a child, an egg, and a letter. The letter is from The Watchers or smt, essentially saying “Sup, here’s some kids for y’all, lol take care”. Panic ensues

Also all the names are very arbitrary apart from one being chosen for a dumb pun

Liana no last name given

Professional Scammer and pathological liar, Liana is the fledgling that hatched from the egg belonging to Scar and Grian

She’s a manipulator at heart, a con artist through and through, tho she hides it behind sickeningly sweet words, large puppy eyes and bright colors

Has great relationships with both of her dads, even though their parenting styles are very different

Grian is a total helicopter parent, Liana was barely allowed to leave the base as a kid in fear of her getting hurt

Scar does not give a shit, she could be telling him that she’s off to summon a wither and he’d just ask her to be home for dinner

She inherited the “Looks like a cinnamon roll but can actually kill you” vibe from Grian which she uses fully to her advantage

Scarlet Macaw hybrid, though her wings are too small for her to actually use them to fly, but they do help her glide

Dressed in strikingly bright colored suits just to throw people off, and smokes a pipe for pure aesthetic

He’s an overachiever, always feeling a need to be perfect and do everything right

Both Impulse and BDubs are a bit like those Beauty Pageant moms, always feeling a need to prove that their child is the best. This is partly the reason for Wes’ disorders. Impulse can be a bit more chill than his hubby however

A thing that does add to his stress level however is the fact that all his friends are fucking maniacs and he’s the only voice of reason they have

Her relationship with Ren is very casual, they’re more like dude bros than father and daughter

BigB is the more parental of the two, he’s the one who baked her cookies when she felt sad and told her stories when she couldn’t sleep

A big gal, second tallest of the gang, standing at six five, and ripped af, wears tank tops to show off her muscles

Wears shades so much that the light actually hurts her eyes at this point

A true boy of the farm, this lad gets up every day at five am to do his chores, whistling a country tune as he does so

He takes more after Tango in terms of looks, but Jimmy when it comes to personality. He has his father’s blazing temper though

He’s the apple of his parents eye, an absolute breeze to handle as a kid which helped a lot because they’re both disasters

Talks with a very, very, thick southern accent that no one knows where it comes from, since no one else on the server has it

He plays the banjo, because of course he does

Demon hybrid, tries to hide his more demonic features like the horns and tail as to not scare the animals

Secretly kind of a monster fucker

Aromantic, so not dating anyone

Jassy Smallishbeans

Anime ninja extraordinaire, Jassy is the girl that was found in the gray basket belonging to Etho and Joel

Tries her dang hardest to have a cool and intimidating presence like Etho, but she’s a bit too much of a goofball to be able to

The biggest fucking fan of puns, will go to serious lengths to tell a bad and witty joke

Idolizes Etho, he’s the coolest fucking person in her eyes and she wants to be just like him

He’s very protective and constantly worries about his daughter, even if he tries to act like he’s not

Joel is a bit of an awkward parent, he tries his best with her but he’s not cut out for parenting

Jassy is genuinely a very good fighter, stealthy enough to sneak past skulk sensors with no issue, and a master marksman. She just has a problem keeping a straight face sometimes

Has a few anime attributes, such as the unnatural white and ridiculously styled hair, a very strange way of eating*, and the swirly eyes whenever she gets knocked out

Is very monotone without really meaning to, but yeah this boy will roast the shit out of you

He was mostly raised by Cleo, since Martyn wasn’t too keen on having a child. He gets along great with his mom, but his relationship with his dad is pretty much non existent

Martyn tried to reforge it when Jekiv became a teenager, but the damage was already done and the daddy issues had settled in

Absolutely fucking adores frogs, they’re his buddies and his pockets are filled with them

Kind of hates his sorta Step-Brother Novo

He is a zombie hybrid, which means that he can’t sleep, his skin is rotting away, he limps when he walks, and he’s sensitive to sunlight

Wears a light pink cloak to cover up his skin. Is also always dressed in pastel to counter his kind of horrory and gory look

Unhinged freakster of the server, Novo is the half elf in from purple basket belonging to Scott and Pearl

Superstitious as all hell, wears a four clover necklace around his neck, a rabbit foot around his ankle and had his pockets filled with acorns

He thinks his mom is really cool and awesome, and even if Scott had the majority of the custody this bitch still turned out insane

He’s got them crazy eyes, a slight twitch to his movement and absolutely zero filter for his mouth, spouting out every random thought he could think of

He’s absolutely tiny, standing at barely five feet, with zero muscle, which makes him the ultimate twink

His makeup look consists of heavy eyeliner and then a spray bottle to the face, giving him the running mascara look. He knows he’s unhinged and he commits to the aesthetic

His dad thinks he should calm down a little and such, but he does support his son in his weird makeup and his beliefs

Also if ur wondering Wtf kinda names these are, I was just sitting with a document typing random shit in until I found something that fit. Sometimes I got something nice, like Gertrude, and sometimes I just got a random bunch of letters, like Jekiv

I made some cute ship names for the couples as well, so we’ve got Stress and Sass, Tol and Smol, and Pirate and Parrot. Y’all can probs figure out who’s who.

But yeah I had fun doing this, character creation is one of my favorite things and I’d say it’s one of my biggest strengths as well, which is actually kind of sad

Also when I started this it was just the end of session three, and like now two couples have died so rip Team Ranchers and The Box duo, you’ll forever live in my heart
