This is empires season 1 king Joel’s weapon of choice

I propose a new curse idea in empires called the curse of the mesa any empire that is located in that biome will have an emperor that is doomed to go insane and is associated with themes of delusions and denial there death will be the same as the ones before them they will die of heart break

tiny Tom headcannon

First things first tiny tom is a girl and a little bit bratty 

she is one of those kids that is obsessed with the idea of a fairy tale happily ever after and when she was abandoned she latched on to that idea and like Jimmy she has a depressing tally board to count the days her goal has not been reached but instead of it being for a train to be build it’s for the days of her not getting her idealized Prince Charming

She admires gem because she is a princess and just like her dads she has delusions about having authority and power so she’s very bossy to the annoyance of everyone plus her father is a god so it’s really bad

she inherited jimmy’s rigid morals and dislike of disrespect and ability to pick her self up

she inherited Joel’s expensive taste and god like strength and patience she doesn’t do things in halves

She loves her brother Hermes but is such a textbook annoying little sister that she manages to be the only that has ever driven the sweet Hermes to loose his patience

They had a very bad first meeting when she found she had a brother she got together a “contract’ and wanted Hermes to agree to unreasonable demands like letting her use his stuff or something like that

Don’t be mistaken Hermes loves her to but there relationship is not the best because he’s obviously the favorite of Joel and he inherited more god powers still she got super strength and is very much capable of picking up both her dads

When she’s older like in her tweens she started to look for parents and it was then she was told who they where

So She went to meet them and when she met Joel it wasn’t good he told her to go back to where she was and when she got pissed he pointed her towards Jimmy so she would take her complains to him instead

Jimmy agreed to let her stay and is very strict but she is the stereotypical bratty daughter so as you can imagine they bicker o lot she also has super strength which makes disciplining her very difficult 

she hates living in tumble town because it’s dirty and she has to do dirty chores she longs to live in stratos but She doesn’t have a roof over her head there and because she still wants to connect to her dads she stays in tumble town

whenever Joel comes he gives her random gifts to piss off jimmy and she worships the ground joel walks on because she is desperate for his approval but she doesn’t respect her other dad who hops from underestimating and babying her to showing disapproval whenever she does something childish

Jimmy try’s to be a dad but the last time he saw her she was a kid and he missed a lot 

over time they do get close but jimmys has a lot to learn and toms got a lot of maturing to do before she gets the picture

I don’t think season 2 Joel is a god but I do think the headcannon I’ve seen of Joel from season 1 and season 2 being the same person is true 

I believe what happened was that after his palace was destroyed and his loved ones went missing joel searched for a purpose to distract himself from the grief 

He still wanted to leave behind a legacy so he became obsessed with building his magnum opus a statue just like his citizens but so much more he would get giant muscles and be very tall and have the power of a god

he based the design off of myths like Zeus because he was inspired by his wife who was debatably a goddess also he used famous Greek sculptures as references 

While He is the same Joel from season 1 he is not an immortal god like he claims he is It would be ironic because it would make him making fun of Jimmy for being a toy hypocritical 

I also think the reason Joel targets Jimmy so much is because they used to be brothers in laws and he used to think Jimmy was a great ally and friend so seeing someone with the same face and even some similarities in personality being a corrupt sheriff well it infuriates him to no end 

Scott: I will fight god.

Joel: I’m sorry but no.

Joel: Sure you may be verified on Twitter…

Joel: But are you verified in the eyes of GOD?

Jimmy: … I don’t need to be verified nor do I want to be verified in the eyes of god.

This is for Han specifically (oh my gosh you have no idea how many tries it took to spell specifically lol). Shadowbeans marriage! I decided that they should both wear dresses because dresses are more fun to draw and also I kind of suck at drawing suits.

So, in Empires, Joel has a familiar connection to both Lizzie and Jimmy (his wife and brother-in-law).

And in both their recent death on AL, he is present. So we all kinda agree on the fact, after everyones finales, Jimmy and Lizzie lost themselves and memories again, Joel basically became that "good guy goes and abandon morals" (man lost his family, friends and that big castle in like 5 minutes)

->Joel became the mad king.

How can you be a mad king without at least killing your families for unintentionally abandoning you amirite? He doesn't remember his past life but the regrets of that life transfered to this one like a sort of whisper in the back of the head that gets louder everytime

People will focus on orge!Joel but I, who still has not gotten over empires finales, will cling onto any theories of empires as long as my brain still functions

But! I do have these pokemon teams!! Most of them, anyway. I may be able to make an entire region, but I sadly cannot make an entire dex of mons. I also could not do or at least list the whole teams for everyone on the bottom end, since their vibes are hard to match ( Well, Lizzie and Jimmy are easy, but I’m not listing them yet?? ) so if you want to suggest some mons for them, please do!!

Idc what everyone says JOELS FINALE WAS COOL!! I think some people just have to accept that some empires creators don’t feel as comfortable doing a lot of in depth lore and that’s fine!! Personally I think empires is about the creators giving us something to run with and make our own by making silly head-canons or writing our own stories based off the world and characters they’ve given us. If you really want in depth lore watch someone else but let other people be a little silly with it. Also as a hardcore jeremyism lover I’m just glad we got more jeremy

Once upon a time a girl named Lizzie, the sea knew her name and the God who judged her. Several years ago she had killed a man who cheated on her; She repented and begged not to be punished but her punishment was assigned to her on the shore of the sea, the poor girl would be condemned to live in the sea.

The waves she's cell and the moon she's guardian, a legend told that she will be in the sea forever. Such a story came to the ears of a young man in the kingdom of Mazalea, a boy who would be crowned king in a short time; the ravines reached the pier and curiosity invaded him, was that mermaid real? Willing to find out, Joel spent days and nights hoping to find the mermaid that they said sang at dusk and at dawn of a new day lamenting his mistake.

Apparently the perfect night had arrived, the clear sky and the full moon reflected in the calm that reigned in the sea, tired of waiting at the pier, he took his small rowing boat, he thought about going to a place where he was sure that if there is a siren there I would find her. Closer to where Joel wanted to go, closer to knowing if everything was real or not; as he got closer he had a strange feeling of being watched which was strange, he didn't want to think that someone had followed him. He approached the small coral reef that surrounded the place where he believed to find the mermaid of legend, the water was almost transparent thanks to how calm the sea was. Joel looked down attracted by a sudden light that came from the bottom, an old shipwreck was on the bottom, apparently illuminated by something, he observed it carefully and it seemed to be in perfect condition, even the light seemed to come from any oil lamp .

❥ I think I made it… - he mumbled to himself.

Close to Joel, Lizzie had climbed one of the rocks without making a sound and without noticing that someone was approaching, a thick stone wall separated them, Lizzie did not realize that Joel was fascinated with his house, years ago Lizzie had fixed the shipwreck to be able to live inside its ruins, for her it was quite comfortable. The beautiful girl with long pink hair began to sing as she would every night since it was the only thing capable of distracting her from her eternal punishment, the moon illuminated her pale skin and part of the bluish scales that were on her tail shone with intensity receiving the light of the moon. Joel was moved when he heard the beautiful song of the mermaid, the legend was real, he delicately approached in his boat and watched until the mermaid noticed him, Lizzie smiled at him and continued singing.

❥ Your voice is beautiful - Joel covered his mouth since he had spoken without thinking.

Lizzie stopped singing and gave Joel a giggle, she was nervous since she thought Joel was cute, for her the brown hair with the green streak of Joel was cute; the young man's emerald green eyes captivated her. In Joel's opinion, Lizzie was perfect, beautiful, with a beautiful voice, Lizzie's light blue eyes shone like two jewels and her hair adorned with a crown made of corals and pearls caught the young man's attention instantly; It seemed love at first sight, crushes instantly.

❥ Thank you very much, handsome young man - replied Lizzie, the mermaid came down from the rock and approached Joel.

They looked into each other's eyes, that look seemed to be the last detail to make them fall in love. Joel in his stammering nervousness as he neared the edge of the ship, Lizzie ran her hand around the future King's cheek.

❥ Your skin is beautiful and soft, for a fisherman it is something that surprises me. Lizzie continued.

❥ Thank you cutie, your hands are also soft and beautiful, I introduce myself to you "Lady of the sea", I'm Joel. - I didn't want to be rude to the pretty lady.

Lady of the sea? Was he referring to her?

❥ Me, "Lady of the sea"? - Lizzie said confused - my name is Lizzie, why did you call me "Lady of the sea"?

❥ In Mazalea we know her as Miss Lizzie, the legend of the Lady of the Sea is so well known by fishermen, artisans and merchants, named for that torn dress and her crown that makes her look like a queen without a country.

The young woman was surprised, she believed that no one knew about her. Curious to know more, Lizzie spoke with Joel for a long time until she realized that they understood each other, they stayed in silence for a moment, Joel couldn't stand it anymore and spoke again.

❥ Excuse me Lizzie, do you believe in love at first sight? Joel said, Lizzie blushed slightly.

❥ A little, why? - she replied.

The young man looked her in the eyes, extended his hand as a sign of wanting to help her get on the boat, although Lizzie wasn't curious about getting on, she accepted Joel's invitation, now they were sitting together.

❥ Because I think my heart fell into the hands of The Lady of the Sea. - Joel said, taking Lizzie's hands.

Lizzie was flustered, but in the end she, too, had fallen into the young fisherman's net.

❥ And mine in a fisherman's nets - he replied.

They exchanged glances, Joel's hand went to Lizzie's chin, getting closer and closer until they consummated a tender kiss in the moonlight, Lizzie's mermaid tail began to transform into her legs, the scales that surrounded her waist , shoulders and wrists began to disappear, she was no longer a mermaid, the fisherman had freed her from her punishment.

Lizzie knew that she needed a kiss of true love in order to be free, that God warned her that there was only one way to be freed, a perfect love that would make her remember the love she always wanted, when she was on the seashore she would be a human , if she enters to swim, she will be a mermaid again until she comes out of the water.

❥ Thanks Joel - the girl threw herself to hug the young man, she was finally free.

Time passed and the couple made a courtship official, the couple was very loved by the kingdom of Mazalea, Joel was crowned King and Lizzie began to create her own kingdom, one that would one day be united by the marriage of both leaders.
