Anyway that’s why you wear wool and a life jacket babeeeyyyy
While I do understand the message they are trying to express, I could not help but giggle as my toddler brain went.... since when did being in a wheelchair become a gender??
And yes, I am aware of how bothered some humans are by signs like this but, because of that very mentality, I appreciate that more places are offering... safe spaces... to perform bodily functions. Bad human behavior comes in all types of packages. Making someone feel unsafe, or unwelcome simply because of their personal (not dangerous to anyone else) lifestyle decisions is not a very nice thing so yes... I fully support spaces like this and the businesses that have them.
currently sat in school and considering all my options in this au that I want to post (despite not even having finished my current one) and I've just realised how unbelievably fucked I am for school these next 2 years, because honestly all I can think about is fanfiction and other shit and it's actually taking over my life.
...
how do people multitask work and fanfiction? is there a magic spell that solves my problems and lets me write or do I have to live with this split personality for the rest of my life? 😭😭😭
I don't even know where this is going just #theproblemsoflife
ok so! leaving a fryer (non air fryer, im talking bout that oil shit) on for like 5 hours can irritate your eyes!
someone forgot to turn it off and when i went down to get water, my eyes starting hurting like hell (like having them closed would hurt SO MUCH that i would start tearing up). we found out it was left on at like 12:30am, a few FIVE hours after dinner.
always remember to turn off your fryers after using them.
if this situation occurs:
open your windows
get some eye protection
turn off the fryer
k have a nice day
(i just remembered you csn color text and 🙂)
Wait what's a buildings fire evacuation plan if you aren't supposed to use the elevator to get down
Let’s talk infections. I have seen many posts asking about infected cuts and i currently have a couple. I have had many infected cuts/scratches and had some treated by a doctor. Every infected cut should be seen by a doctor but if you cant see one there are some things that you can do at home to prevent further infection. Please repost to help others.
Preventing Infections in New Wounds:
-Use sterile supplies/clean with rubbing alcohol
-Wash cut with warm water
-Apply antiseptic cream
-Keep the wound dry with a clean dressing on it (gauze, bandaid, etc.)
-Avoid picking at the scabs
Signs of an Infected Wound:
-Edges of wound are red
-Wound is hot to touch
-Fever
-Oozing pus
-Swelling
-Worsening pain
Treating an Infected Wound at Home:
-Clean the wound 3x a day
-Apply triple antibiotic cream 3x per day after cleaning the wound
-Apply a clean dressing and change it often
-Keep the wound dry
-Let the wound heal without disruptions (don’t pick off the scab, don’t reopen the cut, don’t make new wounds)
BEWARE: The wound will probably take longer to heal than your normal wounds. Making a new wound with an active infection can cause the infection to spread, making it worse/possibly life threatening.
When to see a Doctor:
-Large cut
-Fever
-Redness starts to spread
-Oozing pus
-Aches and pains
-General sick feeling/fatigue
Hi, so this might be random but I haven't seen anything about it on here and I know this is a website full of depressed people who probably use dry shampoo.
"Among 148 batches from 34 different brands of dry shampoo products, 70% of samples tested showed "quantifiable" levels of benzene."
These products and more are being recalled for containing cancer causing chemicals. And because of the nature of dry shampoo is to spray it in your bathroom, directly onto your head, it can linger in the air and expose you to the chemicals for longer periods of time.
"The detection of high levels of benzene in dry shampoos should be cause for significant concern since these products are likely used indoors, where benzene may linger and be inhaled for prolonged periods of time."
THIS IS A LINK to one article full of information, but you should probably do your own research on the subject to figure out if you currently have or have used one of these products and what to do about it moving forward.
