Hetalia Siblings Week Interest Check

I was thinking of making a week to celebrate all the sibling relations in Hetalia!

You wouldn't be just limited to Canon sibling relations too:

Canon: It's confirmed in canon that they are siblings (Veneziano and Romano; America and Canada; Germany and Prussia, etc)

Historical/Cultural: Interpreting cultural or historical relations as a sibling dynamic (Slovakia, Czechia, and Poland being siblings due to their shared Western Slavic origin; Estonia, Finland, and Hungary being siblings due to their shared Uralic origin; The Germanics; etc)

Fanon: You've seen characters interact with each other and interpret their relationship as sibling like (Such as France claiming to be the big brother of Europe, The Baltics; Germany and Austria, England and America/Canada, etc)

Purely Aesthetics: You've never seen these characters interact in canon but you think it would be cool to see them with a sibling type bond (found family if you will)

*Of course, there is overlap among these four categories

Playing around with Sealand and Latvia Desktop Mascots

This is desktop mascot made by Hima back in 2008 (with the lastest update was made in 2015).

It's mostly just Sealand and Latvia talking about random things, with some other characters made appearance too. Overall it's SOOO CUTEEEEE!!! x33333

Below here are some more unnecessary ramblings about the contents and technical problem I had with this since I'm suck with tech stuffs ... o(-( Contains more picked screenshots (it looks untidy,, please don't mind the background apps I had below them).

The characters appeared are: Japan, Spain, France, Prussia, Russia, and Belarus. So far I haven't encountered Belarus yet ... they said she had interesting lines in here o(-(

In the communication/text chat feature, some inputs with supposedly working response just don't register for some reason ... I tried to fixed it in the txt data, got a couple things more worked but some are still broken. I don't know how to do that ... maybe I should use Japanese input method??

Btw I think the LJ thread has mentioned this, but text input 'Prussia' would only be read as 'russia' . You can make Prussia appear in the mascot player, use 'Gilbert' instead.

I think the translator combines Sea-Lat 2010 version with the updated 2015 version ... and so I saw the dialogues being switched, it's just kinda funny seeing Latvia using -desu yo xD

There are some error logs appeared but I don't know why ... maybe this started appear after I turned on the screen capturable option. Or maybe it's because I tried to use hima's file from 2015 (not the translated one)? It's still playable nonetheless, though I would see 'blinking' character portrait for others than Sealand and Latvia.

Have I said how adorable Sealand and Latvia in here? Because they areee!!! Sealand maybe an annoying brat but I enjoyed him doing something like that to England loool ... also being called "onee-chan" is kinda made me like waaahhh hsghdfjls

below here are some unnecessaries

America recommended Dora The Explorer to Sealand, but Sealand feel bad because the whole deal of silence and staring on the screen. He cried when he don't get the access to the show tho. Also he saw Gladiator and Troy too (it's a R-rated film??).

Apparently Sealand had a 130 cm "hamster" ... whatever that is o(-(

Hima is a South Park fan isn't he- I know nothing about this show though hsfjdfh what does this mean anyway ... Also I thought Sealand's dialogue is that he's digging through my device files and not house huh

I like it when other characters (that is, only Latvia and France from what I see in here) pointed the similiarity between Sealand and England. France mentioned his similiar tsun- behavior, meanwhile Latvia (in the text chat interaction that I can't get it work rn ... smh), said that he can stomach England's food just fine.

Despite often badmouthing him, Sealand did listen to what England says ... now it kinda made me wish there are more moments of them together o(-(

Romano was not a much brighter kid back then-

It seemed in here, that Sealand and Latvia had a sleepover or something like that in Latvia's place. Like in the moment when Latvia was about to leave Sealand behind for some night shift (as a joke??), but then Sealand got scared. Also Latvia asked if Sealand would be fine leaving his house, in which he said that one (1) office guard ...

Latvia himself,, he seemed to be really workaholic TvT also in webcomic he's said that he can't be drunk ... uwahhh Latviaaa o(-(

There's reference I don't really get ... is this about baroque fashion? Well, I don't want that kind of clothes lol. I got similiar dialogue about Crete in hellenistic period too.

Latvia was kinda jealous with Sealand having a good brother (not sure why he thought that way lol). Also England is the one who bought Sealand's sailor outfit.

Latvia noted that Prussia is a punctual guy, always on time like that ... unlike me shfjshfd. But he also a loot around stuffs, just like those RPG Protagonists.

BONUS:

I don't know why the win+alt+r recorder can only either record the ghost or the balloon, not both ... well, it's a basic, default one from win10 . Also I messed up the timing in the gif here kind of so sorry about that o(-(
