Apologies to all Stan fans 😔

I am a firm Stanley hater. I hate him as a person, and I think he’s a decent character. But damn I hate his anime colors. I don’t even know why! Something about the yellow ass hair with random honey-brown eyes rubs me the wrong way. I’m sorry all Stan lovers, but this is not it💀

Like he’s supposed to be intimidating?? He just looks kind of goofy like that. I always draw him with super light blond hair and gray eyes. The warm colors contrast his personality too much.

Although I will admit I like how the hair parts by his ears are darker, giving the appearance of an undercut which looks cool, as well as the purple lipstick. He’s killing it. But again, the cool purple clashes weirdly with the warm hair and eyes. They did I a good job carrying over his eyelashes too, they look very nice.

They did something similar with Luna, where they took her colors but made them super bright and unflattering. Like sure the dress could be passed off because it’s a target, but her hair is so bright and cool toned, it doesn’t work for her. All together it feels too contrasting and is hard to look at.

I really like Zeno’s colors, but he’s basically monochrome so like🤷‍♀️. They got him right at least.

All of this is in my opinion. I apologize again to the Stanley fans. You guys write great fanfic and I love you<3

Sephiroth tree of life symbolism is driving me insane-

That one cutscene near the end of the game where Sephiroth is near this a humongous tree near the Forgotten City and that rainbow rift in the sky has me thinking.

And of course he chooses to transform into Bizzaro Sephiroth, in the Forgotten City, NEAR THE TREE.

If the Lifestream and its many worlds represent branches/roots of a tree and that Jenova meanwhile is busy corrupting the Lifestream...

According to Norse mythology, the god Odin hung himself on the world tree to obtain knowledge. Just like how Sephiroth got his knowledge from the Lifestream (or future events).

Then maybe Sephiroth would have to do the ultimate sacrifice. I find it fitting that a villan named after the sefirot will be the one to save everyone at the cost of his life.

This may not happen in Part 3 obviously, but it's a great theory methinks.

That would be a CRAZY way to end things. Part of me wonders how genuine they're being when they're saying the R Trilogy leads up to Advent Children. If Sephiroth DOES get some form of redemption...do the events of AC not play out the same way? Or is it the remains of the Sephiroth that WAS? Crazy stuff...

So I know they’ve released a few real names for the second live action movie characters BUT

Ellis is the only one who doesn’t have a last name. He’s just referred to as Ellis.

I know Draculaura doesn’t either but we know Zamara is his mother and Zamara has a last name so why wouldn’t he?

BECAUSE ELLIS ISNT HIS REAL NAME

I think it’s a fake name he uses IN the movie and how he’s introduced and everything but I don’t think it’s his real name

The second he started to dance, she forgot everything around them and concentrated on her stepping, making sure to follow him while avoiding missteps. It was surprising to see him managing so well in his current state. This man was full of surprises... At this point, the young woman didn't know exactly what she meant by that. Was she talking about the actual dance or about something more general ? With the alcohol running through her system, her mind was wandering too much for her liking. The smile on his lips had a lot of effect on her and she followed his rythm with a dreamy gaze. Each time he brought her frame closer to his, she flushed, enjoying the intimacy as if she had been deprived of it for decades. The other clients' stares and the smell of alcohol was long forgotten, swept away by the doctor's charming self and the care with which he was holding her. However, Lysandre wasn't prepared for his final, letting out a little gasp at first before blushing profusely. It was intimidating to be reminded of his tall person in such a personal way but at the same time, she had butterlies in her stomach just by looking at him. When the young woman saw his grin, she giggled and raised her head just enough to kiss his cheek before carefully nuzzling it with her nose.

« You're an amazing dance partner Julian... Who would have guessed... »

She murmured near his ear, letting her lips brush his skin.

"I loved it..."

“Oh, but of course we are, dear.”, Julian spoke as he carefully guided her into a slow waltz to get used to her stepping, leading for the moment, to the best of his abilities considering he was intoxicated and keeping a straight line with a back and forth movement wasn’t exactly easy. However, he was confident enough in his footing that he knew he would not step on her at any point even if he messed up the pace. Chuckling from the atmosphere of heavy anticipation that had dawned upon everyone watching, he said in a hushed tone only for her ears to hear as he leaned in dangerously close to the side of her head, hot breath bouncing against her fair skin. “I will be honest when I say that I have no idea what I’m doing, but I hope you do trust me enough to lead this time around…which would be a terrible decision on its own.”

The entire bar was staring at them while they were swaying back and forth, with him tightening the grip that he had on her while she squeezed back, a charming smile being displayed only for her eyes to see. When the song was slowing down so was their movement and when it sped up, he knew that was the time for him to help her do a twirl, holding her hand gingerly as she spun before he pulled her back into his broad chest, holding her with utmost care. His weary head had rested against her own, gazing down at her with a half-lidded drowsy eye that still managed to somehow display the excitement he was feeling. Whether this was a waltz or a tango, he did not care, he would do it all at once. She was such an intoxicating person that her feisty nature rubbed off on Julian, it made him want to do embarrassing stuff like this in the public eye and not care about the consequences. The place reeked of alcohol and here he was, trying to be romantic to the only person besides his sister that was not blaming him for a crime he did not commit. Maybe his infatuation was based on a bias or maybe it really was just some kind of strange warmth growing in his chest, something he wasn’t very familiar with, and the closer they were to each other even for an ephemeral moment in time, the more he did not want it to end. After he spun her again gracefully, he leaned forward on one of his feet and held onto her arching back; she had no chances of dropping onto the floor, Julian was holding her above it with ease. While she was being loomed over like that, he wiggled his eyebrows at her and if he could wink, he would have - for now, a wide and silly grin had to suffice.
