Written in the summer of 2022, boarded from May to early August of 2024, and then sitting on my laptop until now, this animatic is labor of love and wish fulfillment. 💕✨

IT’S DONE. OMG IT’S DONE. IM FREEEEE and I can actually admit I’m really happy with the result. I learned so much from doing this one project and I think it’s definitely given me some of the artistic confidence I had lost over the last two years. 

My intention was to get as close as I could to this being like a “missing scene” from Bridgerton by studying writing to the cinematography and I’m so glad to finally put it out there. Enjoy! 💕

the peril that is capital W-I-P-S 😭😭😭 i stg, there is more from where this comes from (a storyboard file with a ton of kanthony doodles that i want to turn into something more)

anyways, almost there with the animatic. about…85% done I’d say. 🤞I get it done and out very soon (please, please, please)

can you believe S3 part 2 comes out in 3 days?…

i didn’t think i would make it.

thankfully, i have something to occupy my time.

slowly…but surely, progress is being made 🥲 i really hope I can get this done before part 2 drops.

lol i wanted to see if i could hold back on sharing this, but nope. (failing at being a mysterious girlie I guess)

so here’s a sneaky peeky of a lil kanthony storyboard im working on. ✨

while waiting for part 2 IS TAKING FOREVER, it is also a perfect opportunity to hopefully finish this before then, especially since…ive heard through the grapevine that is TikTok that this is a scene that will NOT be happening in the show 👀😒

so i am fulfilling my duty of making up for the robbed scenes.

(any encouragement is appreciated. 👉👈 im trying to maintain a steady flow of discipline and motivation to finish this ahhhh!)

i had wanted to post something to celebrate the world premiere of the season, but didn’t have the time to clean anything up.

then i heard from a lil birdy post that said that JB and S reunited at the premiere on the day of Kanthony’s wedding anniversary May 13….so I thought i’d just do a lovely lil kanthony sketch dump cuz why not.

Happy S3 world premiere and wedding anniversary to the couple who have continued to consume my mind and soul for the past years. Cheers 🥂

ANYWAYS, yippee it’s done. my first, fully illustrated and rendered piece since *checks calendar* a long time. im good on anatomy, don’t ask me to draw backgrounds (yet)

the brain rot of them has gotten me through my spring semester of junior year and I simply CANNOT wait till I see them again. I’ll take whatever crumbs I can get from the season and draw out the rest on my own :)))

If I had the energy and time, I would make an animatic of this entire chapter’s conversation. The dialogue and writing is just screaming to be acted out.

Instead, pls enjoy these crusty thumbnails of this one scene. (that had made me snicker when I first read it haha you lovable idiots)

Also, I can’t help but think the song “Bad Idea” from the musical “Waitress” is perfect for their dynamic in this particular story, especially for Kate.
