Listen, I don't know what DRAAG stands for. Maybe this has no correlation but i've seen a lot of theories of people saying that the black parade is being forced to perform as some kind of punishment or show of power by the dictator?? So maybe the lyrics are a double meaning.

"Here's my resignation" could possibly show just how much the black parade does not want to be doing this, how they've given up after being sent to the MOAT, theyre resigned, they've let go of hope, the entire basis of which their purpose and message was built on—they are truly surrendered. And "I'll serve it in drag" could mean that they are serving, in this "celebration", under the boot of whatever DRAAG is, inside of whatever confine the MOAT (physical or otherwise) they have been sent to is.

Also (I'm being totally delusional) but Gerard pronounces the "drag" in "I'll serve it in drag" in The End as "I'll serve it in dra-ag", making it sound like a double a—Just like how in the post DRAAG is spelled with a double a.

of course the show mcr is doing with evanescence is in fucking FLORIDA

i do think there will be something more than just pure black parade nostalgia. the dictator rose to power after the band was "sent to the moat" - implying their absence allowed for the rise to power - and now that same dictator is bringing them back for a celebration of empire. but empire (and fascism, as in line with the aesthetics presented in the video) is dependent on nostalgia, that is, a rose-tinted view of the past which doesn't exist. fighting empire also means fighting against the fake ideals they hold up as tradition and the "glorious past" that never actually was. so my bet is that this tour will be introducing more elements besides just tbp stuff.

there is little im not willing to do to get tickets to this show. my soul is in the process of being sold to the devil. my parents' bank accounts are being emptied without their knowledge. i am begging on my knees to every higher power. i have never been so desperate for something in my life.

So uhhhh if y'all don't know I am a ✨m i n o r✨ and so I can't get tickets by myself. I want to go. I apparently do not have the balls to tell my parents I wanna go. So what did I do? Well my dad just asked me to write down whatever I want for Christmas and I added that I would totally love to go to the MCR tour on there. I wrote a whole paragraph about it. I left that paper on his nightstand. He didn't realize until yesterday. So uh any chance of me going relies on my dad having read it and also agreeing with letting me go. Both very unlikely. So I'm fucked :D. I mean I didn't have anyone to go with in the first place and I can't drive myself a whole fucking 4 hours so....Yeah idk why I'm posting this I just don't have anyone to talk about this to lol

I'm watching the countdown. It's coming together. I JUST CAN'T LOOK IT'S KILLING ME. Ain't no way I could get tickets but...a girl can dream :)

I’m literally dying rn because Long Live The Black Parade tour was announced. I need to go. I’ve never been to a concert before. Ever. And I promised myself that MCR would be my first concert. I unfortunately do not have any friends to go with, however. I could go by myself but that sounds kinda dangerous and terrifying. I need to go tho. I just need someone to go with 😭. None of my friends are into My Chem tho cuz they’re all a bunch of pRePZ >:( Anyways holy shit you guys.
