Peter Fetterman Gallery Santa Monica, CA
The only reason I ever go to a Contemporary Art Fair is to see the Photography. To me it marries the visual with the traveler and the storyteller.
I found these amazing works while browsing 1stDibs as I do religiously every week and fell for The Peter Fetterman Gallery. They have incredible Artists on their books and these two immediately stood out.
Sebastiao Salgado was born in Amoires in the state of Minas Gerais Brazil, he started his career in Economics and began his serious photography in 1973.
Sebastião Salgado has been awarded numerous major photographic prizes in recognition of his accomplishments. He is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and an honorary member of the Academy of Arts and Sciences in the United States.
Sebastiao and his wife Leila Wanick Salgado formed their own press agency Amazonas Images. Together, Lélia and Sebastião have worked since the 1990’s on the restoration of a small part of the Atlantic Forest in Brazil. In 1998 they succeeded in turning this land into a nature reserve and created the Instituto Terra. The Instituto is dedicated to a mission of reforestation, conservation and environmental education.
Don Worth Iowa USA 1924-2009 Went to Julliard School of Music and Manhattan School Of Music. In 1949 he began professional photography and assisted Ansel Adams for several years. Worth's childhood on an Iowa farm sparked a life long interest in horticulture and he designed and maintained a large subtropical garden at his home near San Francisco. Most of his photographs use plants as their subject matter. He has traveled widely in order to photograph. Don Worth's photographs made, generally, with large format cameras, have an incisive clarity and quiet meditative mood. Many images involve enormous spaces, and often use the transformative power of fog, mist and other atmospheric conditions.
Love his vision of plants , especially the huge range of Cactus, one of my favorite type of plants. I find them so sculptural and mystical and his images of them spectacular. Would love to own some of his pictures one day.

this building was constructed in a such amazing way, next time I might show more of it. Love the design of it.

Walking around Singapore. Particularly in Chinatown.
How do I see with my #blackberrypassport. Every new shot, new experiment, new experience I get with that. Pictures from instagram @vik.tooor might look like something I post here, they don’t.

Find your personal way to back home.
I like how burnaby mountain is green and natural. Trees, bushes, flora are everywhere. And it smells fresh, especially in the morning, before all classes start. There is a lot of animals, which is nice, cause you dont feel like your school is just for studying, there is a lot of places to explore !
“Emptiness is filling me To the point of agony Growing darkness taking dawn I was me, but now he's gone”
You know what, if you want to meet really interesting and famous people such as incredibly smart scientist Mikhail Lomonosov, the world’s famous writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky, etc.. go ahead, purchase a flight ticket to Moscow and look at them, cause they are just right here.
This city contains a lot of historical and interesting places. A lot of museums, galleries, theatres and so on. I guess if you like history or something like that, may be you are interesting in arts, but you have already been in Paris, Milan, London, and you still want to get some more, than visit the capital of our beautiful country- Moscow!
p.s thats how I'm practising with taking pictures of people .-.
It is difficult to explain exactly what do you feel when you use metro in Moscow. It is not only about trains, long station with unreal amazing design and wonderful pictures, not only about a bunch of people that dont see anyone except themselves (well, not everybody, but the majority of them), it is also that mood, that weird condition of you.
Fot me, our metro is like an absolutely new place, like its not a part of the Moscow. I feel really big pressure, when I'm down there. As though, all these people’s emotions that they try to hide, all these feelings, unspoken words, all that fury, range or something like that is just right here, all around you, in the air, in the tunnel, in the railway wagon, in the light, in the darkness, and in sometimes it penetrates deeply inside of us.
Well, its just a big mess, FM.
it was interesting to saw that awesome festival in the centre of Moscow. Children, teenagers, students, men, woman, elders, everybody was painting these pictures. Even on the middle of the week there were a lot of people who wanted to paint it.
Honestly, I have never seen before events and festivals like that here, but the fact that our government do such a thing is really cool !
