What if Remus and Tonks named Teddy ‘Sirius’ instead of Teddy and Tonks thinks it’s Remus naming their kid after his best friend and her cousin, but it’s actually Remus naming their kid after his dead ex.
I wanted to draw teddy, and then regulus came into the picture. Can take this as reg babysitting teddy for remadora, or babysitting for wolfstar, or even teddy talking to his stepson if you fuck with romantic moonwater/moonseeker. Or reg babysitting for remus in general. Either way, enjoy.

so I have a headcanon that Remus Lupin is actually a really good singer. he didn't like to do it in front of people, just for himself, but sometimes if Sirius begged enough he'd give in. he'd sing with Lily too, ABBA, but insisted she kept it a secret because the others would tease him till the day he died. and he'd sing to baby Harry, lullabys that always worked so whenever the baby was crying he'd be given to Uncle Moony for a song.
then... then he stopped singing for a while. for twelve years, to be precise.
but finally, finally Tonks persuaded him to sing for her. just a little. and he'd sing to her and sing to Teddy and almost be as happy as he was with his old friends.

peter and gilderoy aren’t married either as it wouldn’t be “on brand” for gilderoy who is a celebrity that thrives on gossip around his love life and peter keeps having to defend his relationship to his friends but maybe even possibly to himself a little too?
remus is recently divorce and his friends think his relationship with tonks is the product of a middle life crisis but is it really or he just found real love later in life in someone younger than him?

I'm very 2014 tumblr coded I've realized
I was listening to Mirrorball by Taylor Swift (again) and I was just sitting there thinking about the words and how I really relate to them. And then, none other than Nymphadora Tonks came to my mind when I heard the line "I can change everything about me to fit in." Because she can.
And it made me think of her as a teenage girl (like myself) and how she probably was a huge people pleaser because of her ability and also her baseline personality. (I'm a huge personality nerd and I could go way deeper into that but I won't.)
And she probably got exploited by boys her whole life and for the first bit, she probably listened to them. She wanted to fit in and please them. All she did was try try try.
But I think that as she matured and came into herself, she realized how fucking stupid that was and she stopped letting other people control her. But the pain of being treated like that never truly goes away, and neither does being a pathological people pleaser (a round of applause for my other TS reference please)
Because if you remember in OOTP after harry is taken to Grimmauld Place, Tonks eagerly offers to help Molly make dinner. And while this is her being helpful and nice because she's that kind of person, I can also see it as her being a bit of a people pleaser.
But there's more
Because in comes Remus

Remus knows the pain of being looked down upon because he's a shapeshifter. So he never asks Tonks to change for him. The thought never crosses his mind. and to Tonks, that's probably really healing and comforting.
So yeah there's my spiel about her and remadora and being a woman and a people pleaser and yeah
Being a fangirl is so fun like I don't understand how some people just don't have obsessions? Like how do they deal with their problems if they aren't assigning songs from different artists to different characters from different fandoms?? Or reading/writing fanfiction about their favorite ships??

This is the first book (???) in a very ambitious trilogy I have decided to pursue. It follows the story of Remus and Tonks from ootp-dh and they will NOT die at the end. Don't worry. Anyways they're my comfort ship and I like to write this little story at the end of the day to sort of wind down and calm down. It's not done yet, and I'm not sure when it will be. But I update pretty often.

Hi! I'm curious about your Tonks headcanons 👀 (she's my favourite :D) but only if you want to!

Tonks is also my favorite!! I'd love to share my HCs about her! I could write an entire essay about why she's my favorite, but I'll spare you from that.
Despite her vivacious, outgoing, and silly personality, she never really had friends in school. She was popular, and she had lots of "friends", but no real friends.
She often felt very alienated from her peers because of what she was. Girls were always jealous of her, and boys only saw her as a toy. And a lot of people didn't trust her because she was a shape-shifter.
That's why when she met Remus, she felt a connection with him and related to him, and it's also why they work so well together. (He also was the first guy she ever dated who never asked her to change for him, which she appreciated.)
She can play guitar. Her dad taught her how to play acoustic, and she's pretty good. And as a teenager, she took it upon herself to learn electric.
She has A LOT of ear piercings and a nose stud.
She was a theater kid 100%.
She could sing well, but she didn't sing very much.
She was actually a very lonely child. Having no siblings and no real friends isn't good for anyone, especially an extrovert like her.
She didn't change her natural body and face very much. She wanted to look like herself. But she did tweak just a few things.
She realized she wanted to be an Auror when she learned about her complicated family tree and all she wanted was to keep her parents--and the rest of the world--safe.
People often underestimate her due to her silliness, clumsiness, and overall easy-going personality. But she's actually incredibly smart and a very good duelist.
She's the only one who can make Mad-Eye crack a genuine smile and actually laugh.
She can be very scary and intimidating when she needs to be.
Her clothing style is very eclectic. It's not just punk. It's anything she likes.
The same goes for her music taste.
Andromeda was a beige mom, which is why Tonks LOVES bright colors.
She's a very thoughtful gift giver, and she likes to put together little baskets for her family and friends.
She's a terrible cook.
She actually likes to read, despite what everyone thinks. But she doesn't like classics or romance novels. She LOVES spy/action/mystery books.
If she had lived long enough (SORRY) she would've loved Paramore. Like there's no way she wouldn't have.
This isn't really a headcanon and I think it's overall agreed upon, but she is an ENFP (MBTI) and a 7w6 (Enneagram). (I am a personality nerd and i could rant about this for hours)
She prefers sour candy to chocolate, much to Remus's dismay.
She sings in the shower.
