My toxic trait is thinking I’m Naomi Campbell simply because I’m black and British
art produces ugly things which frequently become more beautiful with time. fashion, on the other hand, produces beautiful things which always become ugly with time.
I made this watercolor painting a while back of model Ashley Graham, after seeing a video of her doing an aerial yogo workout.
I decide to combine my painting with the footage that inspired it, again under the grounds of fair use.

I recently decided to do another watercolor painting, but I had trouble picking the subject. Luckily I found a picture of Ashley Graham doing Aerial Yoga and decided to do a Painting based on it. I call it Someone Whose Not Boring, I hope I didn't bore anyone talking about it.
happy august 3rd to those who celebrate ☀️

Let's talk about fashion models, ladies
Today's iconic model is:
Naomi Campbell: The Last Supermodel Standing
Naomi Campbell isn’t just a supermodel—she’s a force of nature. She didn’t just walk the runways; she owned them, with a presence so powerful that no one since has truly matched it. Even after four decades in fashion, she’s still untouchable.
Born in London in 1970, Naomi was discovered at the age of 15 while shopping in Covent Garden. Within a few years, she became one of the original "Big Five" supermodels of the late ‘80s and ‘90s, alongside Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, and Claudia Schiffer.
Her rise was meteoric: by 1988, she made history as the first Black model to appear on the cover of French Vogue, breaking racial barriers in an industry that had long been exclusive. The Runway Queen
Naomi’s runway walk is legendary—fluid, confident, and unmatched in its power. Whether strutting for Versace, Chanel, Valentino, or Alexander McQueen, she commands every show with an energy that no other model can replicate.
Her most iconic moments include:
✶The 1991 Versace show, where she walked hand in hand with fellow supermodels, solidifying the “supermodel era.”
✶The 1993 Vivienne Westwood show, where she famously fell in towering platform heels—and laughed it off like a queen.
✶The 1997 Dior Couture show, where she stunned in a breathtaking black ball gown.
I’ve always believed that Naomi isn’t just famous because she’s beautiful (though, let’s be real, she is breathtaking). It’s the attitude. The confidence. The way she moves like she was born to be on the catwalk. Watching her walk for Versace, McQueen, or Chanel feels like witnessing fashion history in motion—because it is.
Even after 40 years in fashion, Naomi remains at the top. She continues to walk major runways, front campaigns for brands like Burberry and Fendi, and grace the covers of magazines.
Her presence on social media, through her YouTube series "No Filter with Naomi," offers fans a glimpse into her world—one filled with wisdom, humor, and the same fiery passion that made her a legend.
Naomi Campbell is not just a model—she is a cultural icon. She shattered barriers, set new standards, and continues to redefine what it means to be a supermodel, a businesswoman, and a global force.
She once said:
"I’m never going to retire. I love what I do too much."
And honestly, the world wouldn’t want it any other way.
