✨Sonic X Shadow Generations is out!

So I drew Shadow with his Doom Wings in whitespace! :D

Finally finished my Dark Beginnings painting!!!

This took me way too long to finish and it’s not perfect but I’m overall really proud of it!!! I’m taking it to SonicExpo for Kirk to sign hehehe

Wish me luck carrying it around the con all day 😅

Sorry but I have to rant about this here bc SHE WAS DEF REFERRING TO SONIC AND I STAND BY THAT.

Abe of course thought of Maria, because he knew Maria and yes, at the time, Maria was the only one to get through to Shadow.

But Rouge didn’t know Maria. She may have heard stories, but she doesn’t know her. She never saw their interactions. So why would she reference Maria like that? It doesn’t make sense. It instead makes for sense for her to be referencing Sonic, the one person she’s actually seen get to Shadow.

It is canon and has been said that Sonic is the only one whose words can reach Shadow’s heart. We’ve literally seen Sonic get Shadow to stand down (e.g. IDW comics issue 6)

Also the way Rouge smiled, I don’t think she’d smile like that if she were referring to Maria. Everything just points to her referring to Sonic.

This only adds to the parallels between Sonic and Maria. Two generations, one who knew Shadow on the Ark and someone who works with him now, both having that one person in their head who can get to Shadow. I think it’s actually perfect that they added that comment Abe made about Maria, just driving home the point that Maria and Sonic have parallels in regard to Shadow.

Welcome everyone to the Final / Last Part of the analysis post for the Final / Last Episode of SxSG: Dark Beginnings - Into The Ark.

Spoiler Warning for SxSG - Dark Beginnings: Into The Ark and Warning: This post is probably going to be sad, I just wanted to give you a heads up because Sega really enjoys angst to everyone in the STH series and we are forced to watch it.

{Do You Give Enough Love, My Little Dove}

As we cut back to the shuttle continuing to travel to the ark with Shadow inside of the space shuttle before getting hit with a memory of Maria.

As Shadow's eyes slowly widen a bit, we get another hit of his memory but with him and Maria sitting together while Maria laid her head onto his shoulders.

Shadow's eyes continue to widen because of the memories as if he wanted to shed a tear or two from his eye.

We get hit with one last memory of him of Maria, she is tucking Shadow with a blanket like a mother with her baby would do.

After that, we are shown Shadow with his eyes fully after remembering their time together up at the ark because Maria was the first person who understands Shadow as a life being worth caring and loving for, with this he wants to cry a ton to the point he wanted to let it all out of his system because after all he's still a life being at the end of the day.

He stops himself from letting a tear shed and says to himself to stick with the mission.

{Final Stop}

As the episode ends with the broken moon which suggests that how the Shadow Campaign is going to start in SXSG.

{New Information: Take 3}

Abe agreed with Rouge's argument which provides my claim that I've made about Maria from the last post before saying that "And she was lost a long time ago" which this line interesting me because I did hear some people having theories about why are Maria and Gerald (The Professor) aren't illusions from the story trailer and if this ture when the game comes out then this line was foreshadowing (pun unintended) in a way.

I'm a part of Maria & Gerald aren't illusions camp since because the game is getting a remake (kinda) is Generations which the game's theme is about time travel. (Kinda)

So, My two theories about why are Maria & Gerald are here if they aren't illusions in the white void.

My 1st theory is that they are from the past, both are pulled from their own timeline into the void where they meet the present Shadow and mistake him as their Shadow or Past Shadow which is going to make their meeting a lot more sadder.

Or my 2nd theory is that both of them are ghosts that somehow got into the void and met Shadow, again which is also going to be a sad moment to see.

(I mean Ghost does exist in the STH main games, so it isn't that much of a stretch to make that conclusion & same with the meeting the past since that was the theme of Generations, too)

{New Information: Take 2}

While talking about this, Abe said that "Despite all that passed between us. He saved the world from Black Doom" which provides my statement that I made from my last post about their relationship.

Especially since he even would have been okay with Shadow taking the shuttle if Shadow asked about it while talking to Rouge.

But Rouge rebuttals Abe's claim because she used "There's only one person who would ever do that". What Rouge means by Abe's center friend happens to influence Shadow by doing the same thing if Rouge was suggested if she was still around would have done, too. Maria.

Hello, welcome back to another analysis post for the final episode of Dark Beginnings Prolong.

{Ready For Takeoff}

After that huge but also amazing fight scene, we are cut to Shadow, now in the shuttle while Rouge and Omega are in the station preparing the shuttle's take off.

This could inter take that Rouge (probably) has a talent in technology and this one of these scenes that we see her doing.

My headcanon for Rogue is that before she joined G.U.N, she had a talent in technology while she was younger. She used her talent to became a hacker to hack into the security system in buildings to block it to steal the gems and jewels. She was dubbed "The Jewel Hacker" because of that reason.

G.U.N would later be in contact with Rouge / The Jewel Hacker after hearing about her hacking skills and hired her as their hidden hacker and fighter agent

{Error}

Until the security detected an unauthorized launch that was going which caused the weapons to aim at the shuttle that Shadow was in.

This looks so cool, I have no words to say about this but just amazing.

I like how Lan Fynn shows that despite how Shadow shows some mercy towards the G.U.N agent despite what we saw from the episode.

Remember what Maria said that "Even if you have a hard time expressing it, deep down you do care" which could be implied to this scene.

And here's Omega acting like Shadow's bro, never change Omega.

Omg, the action scene is so wonderful and the mixture in the art style is just so amazing and I love it.

During the beginning of the episode, it's been said that, Team Dark was the first mobiens that Shadow share the full context about his past.

That shows how he trusted Team Dark the most in this franchise.

{Preparing The Shuttle}

After reaching their destination, the trio went out to the station to launch the space shuttle for Shadow.

{Surprise Encounter}

While battling the badniks, Shadow is greeted by both Rogue and Omega in this time while helping Shadow batting the badniks.

Also it's unique choices of words for Rouge to use "Handsome" to Shadow (All the shippers are shocked by this, I'm one of them, lol)

Though it could just be her thing, so who knows.

She asks why Shadow is doing here with Shadow replies that he needs to find answers since he has a suspicion that the Black Arms are still alive in some way. This could be foreshadowing (pun intended) the upcoming game and maybe the let's plot.

Welcome back to Part 3 of my analysis post of Dark Beginnings: Episode 2

Spoiler warning for Dark Beginnings: Episode 2 if you haven't watched it.

{Your Beauty never scared Me}

Maria continues to say that Shadow while yes, having the Black arms genes in him but that reason doesn't define who he is but only thought what he does defines him as a being.

This shows how Maria wants Shadow to just become he has the roots of the Black Arms, that doesn't mean it defines him, it is the way that he chooses actions that he makes.

{You will never be alone, again}

Before she fades away, she said "Then you'll find even more people you can trust" to Shadow which will be foreshadowing (pun intended) that he is going to let others into his life and put this line in your head since I'll mention this line, later on with the analysis.

{Fighting for Answers}

We could see that in the present day, that Shadow is fighting a bunch of badniks to find answers to his questions that he was talking about from the previous episode.

Okay, here's part 2 of the analysis post for Episode 2, let's decipher the episode.

{The Monster within Me: Take 2}

We cut to Shadow explaining to Maria about his roots that he has with the Black arms since he was created by their D.N.A and using the worlds "This ugly, heartless creature" I suspect that shows that Shadow shows hatred towards not only the Black arms back then but even himself because he worries that he would be evil like the Black Arms which he doesn't even care about how others said that he's a monster because he thinks that, they are right about it.

Chat, I really want to hug this hedgehog, he deserves better.

{You aren't a Monster}

After this, Maria proceeded to hug Shadow say "That not true" which supports that she never saw him like that unlike how all the ark crew members said otherwise.

I'm not too sure if this scene left ambiguous to the views. I have two theories which are

1. Abe has some type of jealousy towards Shadow because of how closer him and Maria are with each other, though maybe he could see this as the wrong way from his POV or 2. Maybe he felt some type of sympathy to Shadow and feels some type of regret though his actions towards Shadow before being in denial of that reason.

Okay, so this is the end of part 2 of the analysis post for Episode 2.

Okay, Dark Beginnings: Episode 2 just dropped and After watching the whole episode & taking screenshots of it, I'm here to analyze the episode because I can >:D

Also, spoiler warning for Dark Beginnings: Episode 2 if you haven't watched it and this would probably be a multi partier post because of the picture limit on Tumblr posts.

{The Monster within Me}

Okay first, I'm surprised that the Sega or Sonic Team remembers the fact that Abe exists and was supposed to be Maria's childhood friend before working with G.U.N, glad they remember him.

With this scene right here, I'm guessing that Abe as a kid and maybe the other scientists saw Shadow has some type of monster which is supported by this line "Get that freak away from me!" That Abe said right in front of Maria.

Maria gets mad at him by shouting his name while he's running before entering the room. From this, Maria doesn't really like when others talk Shadow as like a monster, which is sad since he was supposed to be a G.U.N protector & cure to illnesses especially Maria's illness.

Maria sees Shadow while he's looking at a glass capsule with something in it, she goes up to him to check up on him which means Gerald (probably) and her is the only one in this Ark that sees him as a living being which in a way adds in more insight on Shadow's reasons (probably) back in SA2 before getting his real memories back.
