Derek: Those aren't ideas as much as they are random acts of violence.
Void Stiles: I think I'm getting better at this. I didn't even stab him.

I am not usually one to post but I just need to rant about the teen wolf movie. *spoiler alert*
They did everyone but Scott dirty. And I know the ending was about how great Derek was and how he is the best person ever. They are not wrong but his son has so many problems with him and when they finally start to get along. DEREK DIES!!! Like what the heck. And how they only mentioned stiles like 3 times and they carefully edited him out of important sense and yes I know that was partly because of Dylan O’Brien and legal issues but still. And how easily sterek could have been cannon. Like all Eli had to do was call the sheriff grandpa and there sterek. They already had a grandpa-grandson relationship. I mean the sheriff came to threaten and this fool went “oh it’s just you” like buddy. And Derek and the sheriff had a father son relationship. And also how Eli is basically a mini stiles.
Scott is such a bad alpha. Like why would he leave his territory like that. He didn’t even tell his mom he was coming back. Didn’t even try to help with Eli only at the end. Like the first three season he only cares about Allison and everyone else can go fuck themselves. Love Allison but still.
Not to mention all the plot holes. Like who’s Eli’s mother? What up with stiles? Why bring back Allison but not Aiden? Who is the girl with Liam? Where were they at the beginning of the movie? Why do they have the nogitsune and why is it not with Chris or the hale vaults? Are the sheriff and Melissa together?
And how Harris doesn’t tie in with the whole thing. Like what.
There are so so so SO many other things but I won’t. I just feel like screaming, it was so bad.

The one where the Sheriff and Argent corner the Nogitsune/Void Stiles in the loft.
There’s one thing I wanted to point out about this scene…
When Chris draws his gun on Stiles and the Sheriff pulls his gun on Chris, the Nogitsune uses emotional manipulation to try and get to the Sheriff, getting teary eyes as he says, “Dad… He’s going to shoot me. He’s going to kill me, dad.”
The next moment, he turns to Chris, completely in control of his emotions, face deadpan and voice steady as he says, “Pull the trigger.”
That’s not the Nogitsune.
That’s Stiles.
He knew the Nogitsune was using him to hurt everyone he cared about and he was ok with dying if it meant they’d be safe. And when Chris doesn’t listen, he gets desperate and shouts “SHOOT ME!”
But you hear it in his voice: the Nogitsune takes a hold again.
Stiles was fighting.

I have not seen enough people talking about the fact that Stiles got a completely different body after the nogitsune. They will talk about or mention the nightmares, but they won't talk about the body thing. Like, yeah, the possession is over, but it's not really him, is it? This isn't the body he was born with. This isn't his REAL body. It's a magic fake, and it won't ever truly be him. There will be side effects of this, said side effects will fall on a spectrum and go up and down depending on how he handles it and how bad it is, it will fluctuate. Stiles probably won't ever feel right in that body. It won't fit the same way. It will be a constant presence of what happened, and there won't be anything he could do.
Thiam Fic Promo
As promised, the sequel to “The Cold, Steel Blue” is coming out soon. By next weekend (2/16 or 2/17), you all can expect “War of the Mind” (previously titled “Nobody in This Town Stays Dead” for those of you who’ve been following the lead up). This is canon-based, post-Season 6 Thiam series that continues after Liam jumps through the first hoop after his eyes have turned blue. (cover/promo art under the break)

Beacon Hills seems to be more than a beacon, but a Lazarus pit as well. Liam and his friends are home for the Summer and something dark from Scott’s past returns. One that’s arguably their greatest adversary.
Teen Wolf: The Movie
ok, I just finished the Teen Wolf movie. My expectations weren't high, but boy was it bad.
the three redeemable parts of it were:
Eli Hale
Coach Finstock (cause he's just awesome, and the definition of chaotic good)
Allison returning (I missed her, but they also could have done it better)
Aside from that, it was just poorly done. bad writing, bad effects, and everything seemed over exaggerated. Aside from a few points, the overall story just didn't make sense, and there were too many things that changed over the last 15 years that weren't properly explained. New relationships, breakups, why they decided to keep the jar containing the Nogitsune in a restaurant rather than the Hale vault. things like that. Also Harris made no sense whatsoever.
Also they just really needed Stiles and Kira, even Ethan. I get that Allison was killed by the Nogitsune, but Stiles and Kira were the key parts of that storyline. and Aiden was killed by the Nogitsune, so he definitely had a larger stake in this fight then Jackson, Liam, or Hikari. However I totally respect the actors' decisions to stay out.
There were a few gems in there and a couple of cool shots that'll be fun to draw though
I'll leave it here, mostly because if I go any further down this rabbit hole this post will be 10 feet long :)
